Ginger not diasagreeing with the future and quality of the business. Just look at how BUR handled the short attack and compare to this shower who basically announced a rights issue without terms sat on their hands for 3 months allowing the sp to be shorted to death and cause a mini-bank run.

Agree it would be nice to get brought by a bigger player since better outcome than insolvency. Hopefully Brookfield come back at a lower price and make the economics work. I personally do not see Orion buying this though, they may have the appetite but not the ability to make a success of it.

I am not sure this broker understands how capital in a bank works. The capital in a bank is proportional to the loans it underwrites so losses are proportional. Size does not matter diversification of loans does.

CMA would not allow that. What they would allow is an outside bank to acquire, like a big US bang which wants to expand geography.
