Makes you wonder why this OBN and the recent 4D survey weren't carried out years ago and before the drilling of 22 new wells since 2021.

We need to differentiate between 3 sequential work streams (i) Acquisition of the OBN data (ii) Processing the huge volume of acquired data (iii) Interpretation of the delivered data set to inform on drillable targets. (i) is 2 months (ii) sounds like another 2 months minimum (iii) your guess is as good as mine! But anyway not to worry as by the time the rig comes back in November, the 4D shot earlier this year will be ready to inform on next well location. Their existing data set will contain low and high producing wells. They've indicated the new wells will be located as far as practicable in areas of past high performance colloquially known as "sweet spots". (Well that's my interpretation of what they said!)

The target area is not huge but it is complex. Would have thought they would at least have some results back within 3 months of survey completion?

Worth noting that the reserves modelling depends on how many wells they are going to drill. License extensions included more wells which should add a bit of reserves at some point (probably not huge).

If you are only talking about TEN?.... according to the last reserves audit TEN had 6m bbls on production, zero approved for development and 19.2m bbls justified for development (awaiting approval in part, or whole) Tullow share.

StanleyPro - One of the things that happened was a dramatic increase of aggregated GOR on TEN (it's 2 fields Enyenra and N'tomme). So in Jan 2018 TEN production was oil 70,372 bopd, gas was 97.47 mmscfd and GOR was 1,385 scf/bbl. Numbers now Jun 2025 16,462 bopd, gas 151.88 mmscfd, GOR 9,226 scf/bbl. As the field lost energy and pressure it became gassier.

So back of envelope...... how are Tullow doing? 2025FY guidance was 50K - 55K boepd.

Minus 6K of gas = 44K - 49K bopd. Minus 10K Gabon = 34K - 39K bopd. Petrocom data means actual 25-1H production was

Jubilee: 60,903*0.3898 = 23,740

TEN: 16,400*0.5484 = 8,994

Total Ghana = 32,734. Plus say 600 bopd for CDI? Total company 33,334 bopd. Or slightly below bottom of FY oil guidance range. If you assume the one new well on Jubilee mitigates any forthcoming decline over 2H then maybe the narrative at results will be "production trending towards lower end of guidance range" rather than a downgrade per se? They can always do that later in the year if Jubilee performs poorly. All FWIW.

I'll find it one day but there's another reply I gave to one of Anton's tirades where I explained that my deep knowledge of the company is a result of following the company for over 20 yrs, listening to every presentation and Capital Markets Day they had given, deep analysis of production, gas oil ratios, financials etc and all this information is in a massive spreadsheet that is very easy to add too in a time efficient manner since all the embedded formulas therein are already there. Everybody invested here really should do more DYOR than some of you appear to not do!

which might have given readers the impression Anton had uncovered new and startling information about me, the I'd "been involved in Tullow since at least 2009."

I've been invested in Tullow since 2004 on and off having sold all of my shares at £13 and £16. The 'on and off' refers to the period since my original sells and now.....

No worries! That "deflection of defense mechanism....." quote was something Anton had posted in reference to another poster's post (not mine). So I guess it's a case of when in Rome!
