It's academic whether I make a massive loss, or just a huge loss, so I'm prepared to wait it out until it's back at 100p or sold off for nothing.

The news has done very little to support the recent share price growth. We're sliding back to 50p...

As a long term holder, I love this news. Averaging down today.

Day traders making a killing.
Long term holders, not so much.
Will we get anything back? Who knows.
But I'm not selling. Too far under.

I've written off any investment a long time ago, and I'm marking this one down as a very interesting lesson in debt laden companies. They are risky and long term holders rarely benefit (am i right?). Also, a curse on the people at Motley Fool who put me onto Cineworld back in 2019 (and me for listening to them).

25% drop seems harsh. Over reaction?

Given the strong rise over the past 3 months, this is a big fall back to November's low. Not sure where to go from here in the short term. Growth needs to come from sales and sales are linked to global recovery, so I'm hoping for a slow rise back to mid-70s and a possible leap once the now CEO is announced but this is a long term hold for me.

From Monday morning's perspective, no news...

The FT has only 4 analyst opinions for Costain but it says:
The 4 analysts offering 12 month price targets for Costain Group PLC have a median target of 65.00, with a high estimate of 85.00 and a low estimate of 40.00

...so if all the bad news is out of the way, we could be seeing a slow rise to 65 or higher (It's been a long time coming)

Three company directors buying new shares issued is a good sign, right?

Raising funds, fine. I understand that. But a 25% drop in SP hurts those of us already bought into this business. I'm holding a massive paper loss at the moment. I hope the long term prospects are as good as it promises.

Me too, and I topped again today. I know the share price has been going down steadily for a while but the board are making changes and I hope the new team can turn it around. Revenue is still very good - it's a good business IMHO.

10% drop based on 10 trades? All small trades. I dunno where this is going...

I'm kinda excited too, but the share price says otherwise, and it's near the end of the drilling season so I guess we have to wait another year for the gold rush.

@RogueRiver - great advice. No point cutting losses now. My average is 68p, so no way I'm selling.
