I took money out of AVCT yesterday to buy into the rise of HE1 got out and bought back in and netted another 10% of "free shares". Still you carry on... harking back to god knows when, but I have moved on and as luck would have it have replaced all my losses that you refer to some time ago now. (I just feel you should be updated with current events if you are going to continually bore everyone about stuff they have no interest in.)

I have never been any good at timings. I (kind of) know how its calculated but it never happened regularly enough for me to profit from.

Tim, I can "care" about the company I just don't associate it with the SP.

I used the term "Don't care" in an effort to try and get through to posters who think the opposite.

For instance, if we all here think that Phase 1 has been a success then so does the market as we are not ahead of the market.

Therefore as the SP has stayed within a trading range of, broadly speaking, 97p to about 120p apart from a couple of spikes, thats probably where the SP will be when the official results are released. (around 120p ish)

What will give it (the SP) extra impetus imo, will be if there is any indication of its efficacy at the same time. (hence my question)

well, it needs to be a hold and close above 505p. So might be a little bit more up and down before its decisively breached, but if/when it is, then 541p would be the next target.

Presumably the "secret" biopsy would not be strictly necessary under this trial then?

I imagine if, when the data for this part of the trial is released biopsy data will be released too, and that might have a bearing or signpost on how successful phase 2 is likely to be?

I understand the difference between the the two trials, one for safety and the next one for efficacy but.... Surely to be able to investigate the safety through dosage increases, at the same time data of the efficacy would also be monitored because they are so closely interlinked and as has been reasoned, why would you increase the dosage if it was not working in as much it was restricting Dox to just to the tumor?

I know an explanation could be that the dose has been increased because at lower levels its not making any difference to the release of Dox throughout the body but then AS has been verbally positive which suggest not to the point of deliberately misleading (and would go against the animal trials previously).

It just seems that one has to go with the other and have been surprised that the efficacy will take another year when it could all have been done all at the same time?

well, its 20% now.... hopefully a move on this size suggests more than a pump and dump but we will see.

I hope you are right crow. It "feels" like its ready to pop up to me, but that could be subconscious bias. On the other hand watching SP so much for so long (I would hope) that also at a subconscious level something is being recognised!

Thats fair enough Hel, but (and its not foolproof I know!), but the SP usually tells the story. So if things were felt to be progressing to plan, you would likely see a gradual rise rather than a gradual fall over the last weeks/months

It could all come good with a good news RNS on Monday. Its just looks to me as though that would be a surprise to the market rather than, what seems to be a growing expectation of delay.

No rig (yet) no drill, no drill, more money being spent waiting for 2023, therefore more chance of a raise prior to drill at lower SP means bigger dilution, which means even lower SP. ergo...."due to this perceived higher risk, have taken some money off the table."

It looks as though there is a sell or some sells going through and the MM's or some trading platforms have not got enough stock to take on any more sell orders at the current displayed sell price of 113p

maybe a large sell going through?
