No not at all I'm afraid. I completely understand the wishes of many if not all here but for a buyer to be found now after all this time seems unlikely (Obviously it could happen, but as is say unlikely).

Certainly if someone does come forward then its hard to know what the SP would go to? I guess at least 1.5p, maybe a more? but what ,a 3-1 risk reward of gain for a very long shot.?

Remember there is no evidence that anything is going to turn up. the latest info today says exactly that. so to believe anything other than that seems presently, baseless. Plus we are talking days, maybe 3 weeks?

All it will take is one creditor calling in a payment.

Hi Dai, I bought in at 8:00 this morning (modest amount, nothing to move any dials), at 5.74p

I like PT's analysis and think it worth a go. Chartwise I would love to see a close at at least 6.5p to confirm a likely reversal.

Its bit early normally for me to commit from a TA pov, but i will allow me to work on a (relatively) tight stop of around 5.5p/5.6p rather than waiting to get in in the mid 6's

I don't know the answer to this but wasn't the last purchase £605 (8412 shares) ? hardly a further vote of confidence, could be just trying to get the reaction he is getting here in that he "knows" something?

I think this stock is bit over looked here.
imo it should not be underestimated the cash posotion of the company.

It has very little debt and could easily repay it. As interest rates are rising fast now, then this type of (almost) non-debt company could get some "safe haven" money

fwiw chart wise it looks promising. signs of a reversal with help from the RSI pattern, from the 20.65p low. ( a close above 21p needed to confirm.)

However based on the Chart I have taken an initial position at (buy) 21.6p

Hi D, I understand your problem. Could a solution be the following:

Sell half your holding?

Your BE is about 3p I think (although the exact figure does not matter,)

If a bid comes then the SP will rise substantially and presumably EVE's future is secure in which case the SP should go on to what 6-10p in the following 24 months? in which case you still cover all your losses only half your holding.

However if no bid comes then it goes bust, but at least you got some money out?

Just a thought?

I think this latest AR buy was before the RNS today.

Maybe he has been previously gambling on a good outcome?

Are you figuring that she is deliberately forcing the SP down to make a bid more attractive?

I can see the reasoning in that, but a bid can come in at whatever price the bidder wants.

It seems to me there are just days left on £300k in the coffers. There can't be much money left to buy stock, overheads (staff, running costs, advertising etc) are continuing. And legally they are not allowed to carry on trading if bankrupt, even in a technical sense, ie debts greater than assets.

Hopefully there will be some great revelation but i find it hard to give it much odds I'm afraid. :0((

At the end of the period £0.9m was owed to ClearCo. This is recorded in 'Trade and Other Payables' in the balance sheet below. As at 31 August, cash at bank was £1m, with £0.7m owed to ClearCo.

Basically EVE have £300k left.

genuine question IINV, what do you think EVE have done wrong that a new person would do differently?

bigger range of products (or less), or more advertising (or less), or reduction in overheads? (If so, here do you see the excess in overheads?) Increase in pricing (or less), expansion into different markets/countries (or less)?

well, hopefully a US opening won't scupper the SP today, in which case the 505p barrier is on course to be broken leading the way next, to 520p (ish) and then it will/should have a crack at the all time high

blimey you criticise me for for being boring, what a load of rubbish posted on a 4p move that puts AVCT bang in the middle SP-wise where its been for nearly 6 months and is still currently lower than it was yesterday.

It would be quite nice to have a close of at least just above 36p.

historically I am useless at timing when these break throughs take place but I would go as far as to say today might be the day. (That' s a woolly expectation for sure... but for me that's almost unequivocal....) GLA
