I guess Haz, it has to be what weight you put on DM's competence. It can be read that the 3rd party legal problem came in out of left field when he thought it was all lined up.

I don't know the answer to his ability but on the positives, he has stuck the course and tried to get it done for the least amount of money (which to be fair, from a shareholders perspective is no bad thing and in fact commendable), I am sure with hindsight mistakes may have been made but this reads as a very positive statement today. (Much more so than the last one imo).

If the presentation is equally positive and is equally well received well then there looks to be a good chance of 30-50% SP appreciation. pretty quickly imo.

The danger and it is a danger and it should be highlighted, is that these BB's can all too easily dismiss alternatives and blinker their outlook so that it becomes a slam dunk in their minds leading to over commitment of funds.

This can't be a high risk bio tech on one hand and everybody shouts "YES WE KNOW THAT" and at the same time a slam dunk to £50 plus a share certainty.

Wiggly, the brief report I heard was saying that the environment of the "life support system" of cancer was being attacked so that it could not replicate and grow and instead would indeed die. (That did not sound like AVCT to me.)

Given the SP is static I think this highlights a couple of things. We don't know its us as all, and given AVCT tech helps attacks the Tumour, the brief news report was not highlighting this way of dealing with cancer, and also, the clock is ticking as I have said before, others are trying to achieve the same goals but by other means. This is not a one horse race that we simply have to wait for AVCT to get across the line. The competition (whatever and whenever it is), will affect the ultimate valuation of AVCT.
This is probably a cause of the slow SP. Until the market can hang its hat on something substantial it is likely to be reserved in its reaction. (just my opinion, dyor etc etc)

Fair enough Haz, but I think its the right word for the situation. They have forecasted costs bit they are not written in stone when projected forward in time.

The fact that the caveat of another rig was highlighted in the last RNS presumably meant that the writing was already on the wall. I think to be fair to DM, on the face of it at least, he has handled what must have been a "What Now"" situation, quickly and efficiently. (just my opinion)

Well, having had a quick look I hope you were already in DGU!

Obviously this big order although over some years and a couple of years to start, nevertheless looks to have given it foundations to continue and therefore de risks it as a holding. (Right now its is over bought but that won't take long to unwind (maybe about 17p) and a target of 50p would seem worth aiming for.

But thats just my opinion from a chart perspective right now. Longer term if defence spending is likely to be sustained then other orders from other nations could well follow. Anyway, longer term 12-60 months looks set for good growth to me, (but what do i know). Good luck!

However is irrelevant what I do, what is if its a genuine interest, is to remember when (if its me you are talking to), when I highlight support levels, (buying entry points) and likely resistance levels Selling exit points.

These typically are short term trades of a few days to a couple of weeks and a few % here and there can start to add up to a decent annual return.

We have been over this countless times but you all choose to ignore it and simply regurgitate this rubbish to clog up the BB

Really? why, if you all know 140p is a resistance if you are not looking at a chart? 140p is irrelevant, its just a number. It is only significant if you use charts.

Once you start looking at charts and the patterns they make you are using TA. It may be that your knowledge and experience is too limited for you to profit from it. But its mechanical, does not predict the future but gives an insight into the most likely next move.

Because its mechanical it leaves emotions to one side.

However many people who use charts, because they cannot divorce their emotional needs from their decision making, do try and see what they want to see, and therefore get it wrong most of the time. This is their fault not the actual premise of TA.
