Apre, if he put out an RNS saying he missed Q4 with an update and then misses that next date for an update, by his own rationale he should put out anew RNS.

Plus, he has missed the original deadline by about 6 months now, so it would be nice for us to have half a clue as to what is going on.

I expect it on balance to be good news but this communication debacle now, is a separate issue to the actual news that will be released.

Or.... simply update the market now with a reason why the early Jan date was missed, or clarify what he meant by "early Jan".

I don't know why it has to be cloak and dagger. Releasing an RNS is meant to encompass significant news that is in the interest of the market to know.

Hopeless really. This is the bit of AIM that is corrupt. Its not perceived MM and the rest of it but the crap CEO's can say and get away with.

I think thats illegal as the company has a legal duty to its share holders and the market generally to release SP moving news as soon as possible.

Why would (even if it were taking place) a behind-the -scenes negotiation of a buy-out be allowed to hold up data on a trial?

Morning Yanis, looks a bit toppy to me. I would expect a little bit more of a fall for it to unwind a little but having said that I am with another share that is defying gravity so who knows!

But as I say I think its more likely to fall a little from here than rise. (if it does then it paves the way for gains next week so i am pretty relaxed either way.) GLA

I broke my own rules twice this morning adding at levels where a retrace is most likely but I was saying that 30% ago!

I wonder if there is another M&A that AVCT fancy. Certainly their current "war chest" is not enough to really get much of a company and I would much prefer they buy profitable businesses rather than loss making ones that may look cheap initially.

fwiw, I think 76.5p is the next target, which is a nice rise from here with a support level at 58p. So at 61.5p currently, a 3.5p risk for a 15p reward giving a very respectable 4-1 risk/reward ratio. Allowing for spreads etc its still 3-1 which is fine.

well.... I wanted to stay out until a new rig was found but the chart is saying that 7.1p is on the cards.

Its a bit premature because I usually go by close of play prices but I have taken a small bite back in.

Thing is (for the sake of argument), say, based on the (minor) break through today, supply and demand pushes the SP up tomorrow before an RNS is released. then did the chart pattern allow some to get in PRIOR to the news?

All the charts show is a graphical representation of buyers and sellers interaction, the fact that you may be aware of the likely cause of the extra activity through said soon-to-be-released RNS is academic to the actual pattern made. In othere words if one trusts TA enough, it is not necessary to know the likely reasons behind the move as the move itself is all the reason one needs.

Its broken a recent small resistance with higher highs and higher lows with the close at 130p. It looks set to have a go at the 132p most recent high, the next one 1s 137.2p and the big resistance point of 142.5p

on balance I expect a rise tomorrow and therefore would expect buyers to give what ever sellers will relinquish early on.

Although we have been here before i think it will be an interesting day, (imo dyor etc etc)

And there I was thinking you had filtered me. Hemo was up 20% today, which I mentioned earlier this week as maybe a good fit with AVCT diagnostics, but that post was deleted.

yes indeed, after all this time it would be very nice if AVCt could just give an unambiguous upbeat RNS... I mean, how hard can it be.....

Hi Pedro, You are quite right and I apologies but I was trying to keep it pretty brief as its nothing to do with this BB.

As always (with all companies), I have no idea how Hemo will ultimately do but as a general rule I let the SP tell me whats most likely and the SP says right now its very positive.

From a FA pov I am always cautious on companies that continually loose money because at some time they have to turn that around and the promise of profits has to be turned into a reality because if it does not then a cash raise comes and that hurts the SP. Having said that I only invest what I can comfortably afford to lose and obviously take into account the risk reward on each individual pick (as we do we all).

Hemo looks to me to be a perfect candidate for a takeover in the next 12 months

(It was fellow poster on another BB that highlighted the stock to me.)
