It allows them (presumably) to be competitive and also give confidence of long term stability to the companies that might place these long term future contracts with them.

Yes SB, that's a solution however, the "risk" with that is current funding and any need for future dilution.

Extra shares have been issued over the years to get us to this point and it not clear (depending on the course AVCT want to plot) that it is over yet.

It feels a bit early at the moment for a nasdaq listing (just my guess),

I don't think a buy back of 3-1 on its own would be helpful, it would need to be backed up with some sort of sign posting to how and when cash flow improves enough to start to put any potential further funding on the very furthest back burner.

As SB pointed out being able to raise external funds is just about the most fundamental reason to list in the first place.

well its a complicated process so i am not sure what the exact criteria is but just wanted to see how likely it was that we could look at a listing over there in the near future

if the $4 min price is correct then we are some ways off right now I think. (it would have to value AVCT close to a £billion which seems a bit of a stretch unless some big deals are announced in the very near future).

My selling at 97p or thereabouts was to minimise risk and it was put into HEMO which made a 40% profit before I took that out. (and you will have to guess where I put it.)

It doesn't matter what i do, all I can say is I get it to work for me. I am really sorry that you feel so bitter about it.

I have been in and out a few times since, most recently selling at 159 and getting back in at 144p last week

thats not strictly true RAH, some flatly refuse to believe when success rates are posted.

And just for some perspective TA expects to get some wrong and the rough rule of thumb is, if stops and entry exit prices are adhered to, a 3-1 winning ration should generate a profit.

I think Pedro, that while on the one hand it removes any obvious need for a raise now its done, at the same time it did not seem pressing, so why has it been done?

I hope the next RNs which is due soon will either through the strength of the stand alone message submerge this action, or if not give a more accurate time line why this was necessary now.

Once the market can put this is into a better overall context, I think they will sit on their hands, hence the drift down below the placing price. (just my opinion dyor etc)
