I don't know either SMBP, its all a bit of a crap shoot. Over the years I lean more to the "trend is your friend" view with SP's as its impossible to know whats around the corner good or bad, plus you never have the inside skinny on the internals of any company. so however well researched anyone is they are probably flying pretty blind without maybe recognising it.

I'm sure MM goes on but how do you know when, and when its just market forces?

Normally news like this should put the SP in a bit of a dip esp as the replacement is not a big hitter. As it hasn't It suggests to me the SP may have found a bottom, but as I say its all guess work.

If the SP falls much from here I will sell and take a small loss. That to me is the key, don't over commit and suck up the small losses while dining out on the big gains... Or so the theory goes! :0))

I bought more harl today at 15.29. Could have waited (in theory) for the 14.75p drop but often the market moves away quickly from a strong support and it can be hard to time it perfectly, so i tend to not try to be too clever and am happy to pay just above a support and get the stock I want in .

ONC is ok, had one support at 60.5p, and is now at the next one at 58p ish. all pretty tight in the grand scheme of spreads I think. If this support goes then I might think about reducing my holding as mid 50's to 51p would be next. But there does not seem any general or specific move going on, so as I say at this stage I am not looking to be bounced out.

IMO, the SP has remained pretty resilient given the resignation of DM. It should be a big deal. DM has been the face of HE1 for years and his "disappointment" suggests to me it might have been a case of jumping before being pushed.

So to me, the fact that the SP has held up suggests that this is not a wholly negative outcome from the markets perspective. so I guess the BoD recognised that the market had lost confidence in DM which is why he had to go.

The basics have not changed. The licenses are there, the helium is still there, the company has Relatively plenty of money and it just has to get a rigged organised.

It should be a straight forward task to outsource even if the current BoD don't have the contacts or where with all to do it themselves.

Short of any unexpected bad news this could/should be a bottom now given the SP is based on a new, untried CEO, no rig in place and no date for a drilling program in place.

maybe James, but 15p looks to be quite a support. Might go to 14.5p ish to sell, but I have just bought some more at 15.29 as for me its close enough. just my opinion.

Hurst, in my observation has never been correct even when predicting a few hours ahead.

I imagine he has Level 2 data which I would have thought by now proves to him its worthless. Yet he seems to put more weight on after hours data which by definition is out of date and simply does not seem to grasp that the geographical location of the data is not revealed so his assumption its ALL U.S. is baseless.

Level 2 can (possibly) be helpful if you are placing very short-time trades (matter of seconds/minutes), on instruments with the tightest spreads possible (which precludes AVCT).

Well, how about my repeated opinion that the incredibly positive info, is ambiguous and used terms that could be widely interpreted .

My opinion that I don't know why AS was not expecting a 5th DE and why has he not explained why it was suddenly foisted on him, causing another 6 month delay to the first part of the trial.

The progress report was very encouraging but gave scant tangible information.

My opinion of AS is that I think his ego gets in the way of presenting information to shareholders.

I get accused of this (spreading FUD), as much as sealioning. Both phrases are simply very recent inventions designed only to inhibit questioning a different point of view. Its insidious and you should rail against it on principle.

I have asked repeatedly here, can any question be voiced that would not fall foul of being classed as FUD? There has never been a reply or example.

So its very convenient that it is the same 8-10 posters who are so belligerent in their attempts to stop any sort of opposing conversation, are evangelical about the prospects of the company.

The company will succeed or fail on its own merits. quite what they think they can achieve in being so dictatorial to others here is either ego's out of control, or simply attempting to push the price up so they can sell at a higher price when it suits them.

Certainly their "analysis" is patently hopeless, as they never predict anything that comes to pass. They never see delays coming and howl if anyone says its likely, They did not see a 5th DE coming. (To be fair neither did AS, only we can't talk about that as that would be spreading FUD)

it sounds awfully like your version of sophisticated analysis is simply an unquestioning acceptance of just reading RNS's and listening to one sided scripted interviews whilst at the same time doing everything you can to limit or close down any sort of discussion.

At 132p I said more gains looked likely. I highlighted that 142p was a key price and it came back (twice) to test it . Either accept charts may be helpful or stop referring to them as though these moves mean anything. As for todays "small pullback" who knows where it will pull back to or maybe it will go up this afternoon and there will be no pullback? How about that?

But in any event, a retrace by definition is not a cause for concern. (A reversal would be)

If a retrace is correctly forecasted then it allows whoever wants to add to their holding or indeed a first purchase, to get a better price and increase their overall profit should all go well.

Explain why that is a bad thing would you?

Nothing wrong with a 30% profit D. And although the results look good to me on WOSG the market still whacked it down. (But as i say its a longer timeframe for that one (see what i did there...:0))

G4M is tricky. They work on wafer thin margins once overheads are taken into account and profit versus turnover is clearly a worry to the market. However at the price they are it is worth keeping an eye on I think. Chartwise (presently) if it closes above 97p then odds are it will go up further.

Because of AS's past utterances during the LFT development I am cautious now.

It is absolutely true it can be read either way and we will know soon enough.

The downside does seem very low. It seems to me it either works pretty well or fantastically well.

Unexpected. It was never planned, around the 3rd Cohort he said it might never be found. The implication here was fevered talk for instance there would or might not even be a 4th DE!. (and yes he is obviously going to say its positive)

So why now having never wanted or felt it was necessary to find MTD, has it been put on the table?

I have asked a couple of times here for people to look up what therapeutically significant means and all I found is that it is an expression of general improvement above what it is replacing. It is uncalibrated.

And this is the thing. It could all be super positive, but at the same time considering we were meant to have an update on the progress in Jan in typical AS style it is short on fact/data but high on ambiguity.

It may work even better in humans than mice. So why not say that? it might be the 5th DE is needed because its surpassing anything they did before and by realising a MTD it will be even more effective than previously thought.

Markedly reduced? what does that mean instead of all your hair falling out only 80% did ? (A 20 % improvement is pretty good don't you think?) Again its an uncalibrated remark which allows opinions as to its scale of its effectiveness.

The one bit which I read as an important remark was the absence of damage to the heart. That seem unequivocal

Thats why imo the SP has not gone ballistic. If my view is reflective of a wider investor base than inhabit here, they may have the same questions.

Its really bizarre in this digital age where its all "prints" ? Right now only from a few hours previously today he thought the SP should be 188-92p

Still, none of it makes any difference and clearly it does not affect the SP .
