RE: Major Inflection Points.18 Feb 2023 11:40
Based on you know whats going to happen therefore go all in:
I refer back to LFT only because its the only reference to date we have that is particular to AVCT
If you were one of the many here that did not see the failure coming after a lot of research then, why not?
I will dare to put words into some mouths that I think are reasonable.
You would have expected great returns based on all the research at and during the time about the virus from many, many different sources and the market for it. Now, given it was novel you would have taken to some degree or another the face value of reports. You then had the detailed AVCT research to use as well, with all the RNS's and the interviews that AS provided. And all of that was over some period of time, it was not or needed to be, a knee jerk, quick reaction. There was time for considered, careful analysis and reflection.
After all of that it turned out to be a dud. But not only a dud, the spins off were too prior to the LFT being withdrawn, (Bams etc)
This is not a critique of the LFT, I am simply highlighting that this belief that you "know" what the out come is from experience of AVCT on new, ground breaking science seems misplaced to me based on actual experience of both the company and the statements the company made during the covid crisis. (I would remind you also, that AS said he believed the LFT was the best test in the world after and during various stages of development of that test, and could see a multi billion £ market for it at least 2-5 years ahead.)
I am not arguing (and never actually ever have done), that this trial is not working. I only expressed yesterday a reservation on the risk appetite to going all-in on a stock at this stage of it development.
Obviously you can do whatever you like with your money. Its not for me to say and why would it be, so apologies if that came across, it was not my intention.
I was simply trying to point out that with new technology we have no idea really how it works or what the problems are it has to overcome from a technical pov. Nor can we refer and compare it to anything else that is out there (AS is very good at giving simplified explanations which make it seem relatively simple and straight forwrd). We are taking it at this stage on in good faith as before, but at the same time do have the experience of what happened to the LFT.
Again I am not arguing against the potential either of this technology but the very fact that no one has managed to do it yet at least must highlight that this is not an easy thing to do.
Finally when or if the argument is you "know" the outcome: The one thing I think has been a continual gripe from share holders here is how poor the coms have been from avct over the years.
so how can you "know" what's going on when you admit that the communication from the company leaves a lot to be desired? The implication is there are gaps in your knowledge of the company that the company does not
