Fund managers will be there because they specialise or already know this area of the market. Assuming their knowledge of AVCT was sketchy to start with (which i doubt), they would have researched AVCT thoroughly before going to the venue.

Why would it take a week to sink in? you think these people don't understand why they were invited? You don't think, if its a positive SD that they can wait a week before they rec the stock to their clients. How do you think they communicate, by Carrier Pigeon?

3:00pm would seem to be the key time, so the SP between 3-3:30p might be instructive?

Ice, I think and have thought ever since it was confirmed to work, that a TO is the most likely outcome. When, of course is the $billion question.

I guess you start to value it when the data of its effectiveness is revealed.

This could be a ways off yet based on the tiny cohort of patients thus far used. (Which probably accounts for why no bid has come in yet.)

This is not just (or even mostly) about AVCT and the tech. As an investment its about a return on the price paid for a stake in the company.

We know the tech works. We know that, so why isn't the SP £50 per a share now? Ergo its not about the tech.

Its actually about costs, timescales and ultimately potential profits.

To maximise the financial return on the technology on the basis that it works, will bankrupt AVCT unless different future funding options are put in place. Depending on the route chosen will have large ramifications on the scale and time of returns.

The market (however it is viewed here) needs to have a clear(er) idea of how these related aspects of the financial side of the business are to be revealed and applied.

As an example, many here have no interest in a timeline due to the break through in the actual technology itself and ignore the absolute drivers that the vast majority of the investment community (which all share holders here are a part of) want and need.

So its a process, and it is a slow process at that. Today seems to be the day to update the City on the potential. I am not sure given we are still in the middle of the very first part of a 2 stage trial, much more will be forthcoming. It seems like a reassurance that progress has been made in as much as it is confirming the tech does indeed work as it did in pre-clinical experiments and to again remind the Suits, through the guest speakers, the potential pot of gold at the end of this particular rainbow.

Its all about the money.

You may well be right OAMOT, but if there is added detail that is material to peoples understanding it won't stay within the building for long is my guess.

Thorn, I certainly wish this BB could take a breath now and then form all the personalisation but that is not going to happen I think.

The SP movements today should be interesting as I would imagine they will reflect what is being said in, more or less, in real time.

As usual my posts are mistaken for bias when I am attempting objectivity.

I realise that Share Prices not only CAN go up or down, but actually DO.

And shock horror, try and benefit financially from that FACT. But any acknowledgement that the holy company called AVacta might ever have a SP that falls even for a day, is clearly heretical here.

What difference does it make to the outcome to the actual trial?

It seems so important to you that people with a different view are seen to be wrong and that you want to rejoice in what you clearly hope is financial loss?

Hurst, please stop this inane ramping, made up rubbish. It ceased to be funny weeks/months ago.

Han, if it was so clear and obvious the SP would not have been static for a month at 160p give or take.

And I am simply disappointed with the terminology AS uses because whatever you say, it could be clearer. What his phrasing does do, however, is give him the wriggle room to up or down play the detailed data.

It could be great, great news tomorrow and we can all point to what he previously said that justifies it. But just as easily if the news (for some reason is a bit less "jaw dropping" and is encouraging but points to a bit more research, then likewise it will be there in the interview and RNS.

Take your pick but in any event it does not matter, the results will still be the results whatever we think and discuss her.

All we do here is kill time between announcements, its not worth getting so excised about it all.

So, through the RNS and interview there is no ambiguity and therefore the greedy US and Market will re-rate a share that you have already realised will come good from the above but they could not work that out when you did?

You are so simple in your narrow view of the potential outcomes, as to be beyond parody.

BV, if it turns out tomorrow AS blows the bloody doors off with a detailed and great update causing a big improvement in the SP, do you think that is acceptable to investors given the Jan progress report where this information will have been available?

This is not meant to be a Soap Opera. The trial has been running for 18 months, the level of data that could have been released in the Jan RNS/website has been left at a very superficial (albeit intriguing) level. Why should investors be put in this position. Do you think thats fair?

So, we have gone from great expectation to maybe just an expansion on what we already know.

The "progress" report in January as we have discussed to death was ambiguous in the scale of the success, leading as always with this company to more questions than answers.

The lack of communication is beyond poor. The example of the LFT being pulled with a commitment to improving it for re-introduction has not, 13 months later, happened, given that an advantage of the tech used was for fast adjustments. That is at best very poor if not misleading.

Announces a 5th DE and 5 weeks later no news. So yes, tomorrow is an important day for AVCT to calibrate the level of progress, to let SH's know if/when an MTD will be reached and to get the timelines of this trial back on track.

The sooner this company gets bought out the better because they don't seem to have either the resource or skill to allow investors to know whats going on in a timely and professional manner, the lack of which leads to wild speculation on both sides of the coin causing swings in the SP, which is not ideal for investors to try and make long(er) term decisions.
