Would of liked to have got in at the 30s, picked this up when it was 65+ had not heard about the company till then. With Apple now looking to invest and follow Tesla, that’s two of the global power houses firmly entering Bitcoin stock, with more sure to follow! I’m not in a position to predict but I don’t see Bitcoin going up steadily, it’s sure to take some big swings, and with Billions on the line I’m sure the big investors will be “topping up” and over time I imagine it will become more stable.. but not for a while. Tesla & Apple etc buying will open the floodgates to new users who have been on the sidelines imo and thus see Crypto etc as a much more genuine investment in their portfolio. My Father for instance wouldn’t dream of investing in Bitcoin, as it’s essentially baseless yet with the recent events I’m sure even he would be paying more attention. If Mode can capture a fraction or better still a solid portion of the incoming popular market this is surely just the beginning!? Will we be seeing global Bitcoin based lending, loans even mortgages!? Certainly become more and more “useable” in the real world as time moves on. Mode can only benefit from this, from what I’ve seen of the company they know this and seem serious to be at the front of the new movement. Interesting time to be getting involved.

Nice to see a sensible spread, still would seem low here, looking forward to results and further app roll out. With BITCOIN activity in recent weeks & months and the app gaining traction figures hopefully will be inspiring

Would anyone care to summarise a conservative news flow timeline here? The big spreads here and little movement it feels like things on standby. Assets are one thing but when do you think we can we expect the real cash generation here. I’m still looking into this share and not up to speed so just thought I would ask if anyone has the time to share. Got Interested as it appears to be a sleeping giant!? I’ll admit this month I did invest and on limited knowledge, just at a glance it looked great!..

Haha, Ndn :) Bottmzup I don’t claim to be a scientist and was just quoting some figures I’ve researched and discussed with others, this particular figure I think came from a lengthy podcast which I’m happy to post. I actually find all the varying available information confusing but essentially it all seems to point to needing masks for some time. Your right to question any figures quoted , I’m actually just as interested how such things come about.

I assumed it would be obvious in relation to the comment but totally understand it wasn't worded clearly. TeesExile, for arguments sake just assume then 1918 for Spanish flu, rather than origins. But the point remains the same. Poor investor, not trying to win any votes here, and certainly not my intention to be competitive, and for the record I’m not rich nor am I private schooled not that should make any difference to how we treat each other. Just thought to share why I think RMS has a fighting chance, and thus our investments here. If it’s too confusing for anybody. I’m simply just trying to say, in a nutshell - It is very very likely the need for an effective mask will be required for quite some time to come, as poor investor has been saying. Let’s all try and support and help each other out. There is too much casual hostility in the world, it is not healthy. Let’s be better than that. Basically Covid is a coronavirus, just like the common cold. The most common cold started about 1880 , originally called the Russian flu it spent 20 years ravaging the globe (killing people) before mutating into what we now accounts for the majority of colds( which has an r rate of about 1.3 in the winter and 0.9 in the summer) Covid currently has an r rate of 3.5-5, which will drop in the summer by a 3rd (like the flu and the cold)

Vacccines.. there are 2 types, one which makes you completely immune and one which doesn’t, like the flu jab, or the new coronavirus vaccine. We will probably never develop the former for Covid as we’ve never done so for the common cold.

Although if a vaccine has a efficacy of 90% + and the r number is low enough we can quickly generate herd immunity and get rid of disease (we did the with smallpox which no longer exists)

But for Covid the r number is just too high ( currently) and the vaccines not the type to make us complete immune. Herd immunity will never happen.

The current mitigations (lock down/wearing mask) are fairly effective, but we are a long way away from getting out of this as the coronavirus is currently to contagious, and our immunity will only last a limited time through vaccine or catching it.

So If say 60-70 % of population get vaccinated and we decide to go back to normal the hospitals will be overwhelmed again, we need masks and social distancing (to some extent )

Basically we all be needing to wearing masks and do some form Of social distancing for about 10-20 years until Covid has mutated (hopefully) into something more manageable.

Goodbye to the high street and big gatherings (especially in winter)

But who knows how this will all pan out but I think it’s safe to say anti covid masks are going to be required globally for some time.

There will be plenty of tests available, but not "gold standard" The R&D behind this test also has other potential uses. As it stands this test is that gold standard, time will tell

Is it just me or is 20p now an absolute steal, the team seem great, prospects fantastic and scribbling numbers as it stands today a share price of between 35-50p seems fair.. though looking further ahead 35-50p range seems low for what’s likely coming, am I missing something here??

AGREE. the sad thing is even non military can see the huge failings of the government to act properly. Many said close borders last year, the relaxation over summer etc etc. It’s infuriating the incredibly poor decisions that have been made. The UK could be in a much better place but here we are.. If this test works, and comes in around 5 mins I believe it won’t be long until it’s almost instant. Less than 30 seconds.. at least for a year or two the need for fast testing will be paramount globally to protect everyone’s health and all economies. Being involved with leading companies will be good for investors so fingers crossed here. This company however isn’t just about the tests.. but the test could be adapted to other uses which also gives longevity to the asset.

I for one think the opposite, Bitcoin is here to stay, fluctuations bring additional income, of course it will go up and down, but it’s becoming more stable I believe and easier to access. This is just the start for mode. Personally very optimistic with the new equipment arriving, will be loading up on dips for sure. This is early days and worrying about 1 day down is mad imo. This will be volatile, but I think it’ll be a good 2-3 months to see if this is going to be good, however in that time could see big rises. I like the odds here. Risk involved but no risk, no reward.

Not sure if real, but I read that HSBC will not be allowing BTC deposits in the UK, imagine many old banks will be hesitant to embrace a new system that is not in their control. If so the MODE will be seen as very attractive to crypto currency investors. I would like to see this become as big as paypal in that sense. Was interested in LION who had a gold backed banking system, but they so far have flunked the concept. Hoping mode will not make the same mistakes and take this bull by the horns. This is the time to dominate.

Moorhey I didn’t say ( and neither does the company ) that the covid test will detect cancer, or other illness.. but if you read up you will find that it wouldn’t take much to adjust the process to focus on other illness. It’s not a one trick pony. For now it is “just” a rapid Covid test. But if you think about it, should be relatively easy for it to be able to detect new strains. This is good.

Fair calculations but only looking at one investment of BRH.. the test won’t fail, it’s already proven essentially, I think more how successful it is will be the news ( personal hunch based on previous info ) I also think the sale value of such a product will exceed 25m as the roll out is monumental. Also if you look at what the test does it also can detect cancers and diseases at very early stages. It is, should be, highly adaptable. I think people shouting 5-8 before facts are known is silly, any share could potentially be any number you like! Well done for being reasonable but I think a successful test will push this above £1-£2 pounds.. I’m optimistic but this is AIM and you never know what sneaky things go on.. face value, right now, this could blow. But caution always recommended.

Yes. There will be some buying including me when available, but people buying in divs is not what will ultimately be driving this share.
