Nice thought Ollyandpatch, I think the clever banks know who the next generation is. The line snooze you loose comes to mind. Now I don’t see btc as stable, far from, and expect big shifts. BUT, the clever banks know that the younger generations want something new, they are tired of old money and old banks, BTC is also a fresh start for that market, which is basically the world. The internet is now an essential entity, and it was inevitable it would have its own currency. Strange example but the computer game industry is larger than the movie industry. People spend real money to buy fake currency in a computer game! Think about that hard for a moment. They exchange real money for virtual money, it has zero value, yet is making game companies billions.. billions. If the internet is a virtual world/game then BITCOIN is the currency. Value is no longer based on pieces of rock etc but the on the interaction of humanity in a globally connected network. Of course Bitcoin has its roots in reality just as you play a game or view the internet on a device it’s all connected to the real world. You don’t invest billions on a hunch. The 4th industrial revolution is arriving and this is just the start ( unless a solar flare wipes out technology of course, instantly frying the worlds new economy, keep those receipts people )
