I’m still not sold on this being legitimate, haven’t sold a bean even in the drop, simply as it was over done on that news and due a bounce irrespective. Simply holding for real news, some good delving into this by some posters, and at best it’s plausible not a certain. Let’s hope for some official clarity ASAP.

Use a proper broker that actually does the job. I buy through HL, never problems buying or selling anything. Solid company and pay less per transaction if you do multiple. If you trade semi seriously then get your self a decent service. On antithetical note, mode struggling to break out, nonsense, this is currently undervalued and must be due a serious uptick soon. This is a joke.

Things hotting up

Just remember it’s an investment company. The companies themselves will either be bought by major or be the intellectual property licensed out. We are not directly involved in all that. However consider this. Why would any company just be making a test like this, especially with its other incredible uses, and not already have made serious ground in those matters! I would imagine with almost certainty that many negotiations and discussion have and are well underway! They would know a while back that this was good and because of what it is I 99% doubt they haven’t mentioned it to potential distributors, manufacturers or majors. I think upon a successful result it will be rapid fire on that front. It’s a global market as well! Not just the UK. I mean we may see £2 on great results and perhaps £10 or more it’s super hard to calculate without reality, that’s why I don’t post any figures at all. But shares in issue v mcap v demand and this could rocket. If it’s faster than 20 mins and works well it’ll be top of its class.

Cohan I actually think it’s just as brave to sell a holding you want to hold, pressing the sell button is hard when there is a good chance of it going up lots. End of the day profit is profit, Pat on the back for making the call. You’ve made profit and that’s great. And you cashed it. of course I’m hoping it goes up, but I for one don’t consider people weak for selling something in profit. That’s the whole point. Let’s say this closes at -20% today, if you spread that over the last run of blue days it’s a few percent chipped away each one.. its simply not a straight line up, look past the day and see the bigger picture is what I think on days like today. Maybe it’ll close blue, no idea, but seems to be consolidating around here. News is so close! have we been spun a terrible lie or are the signals true. We take our positions and hope.

I doubt he could sell yet, please correct me if I’m wrong but at this stage would it not be insider trading?? Would imagine they have a very good picture if it’s a yay or nay by now

Anyone nailing the buy and selling today for trading will be enjoying this a lot. To be honest it’s been a good rise up and a little shaking and consolidating around here seems fair. Probably shouldn’t be watching the intraday movements as holding for news and beyond! Just don’t see a reason to sell yet, a successful test is just the start, but all along I’ve been more interested in the other uses anyway. Covid Test is the short term flavour of course. I’m not so secretly hoping the test is going to be less than 5 mins. But maybe the prof is a con man and this is all a sly game to rob investors. I hope not. That would obviously be a shame and very low considering the circumstances. We are investing on hope after all.

Cbrown, as a realist I agree with you. I am surprised schools being let back all at once. Holidays and international travel etc. I would love this to end sooner but the virus is so far from being a flu like inconvenience. As long as it’s running riot globally, especially in poor countries we are going to see many more and likely serious mutations. Vaccines are targeting specific variants.. just like flu, I really hope it all goes to plan. But Ive genuinely studied viral outbreaks, disease control etc etc. And currently am very worried about people’s desperation for “normal” if we close our borders then we have a chance but if we open them in a few months your 3rd wave is almost a certain. Best case scenario rapid testing will be a huge shield to help control the virus over the next few years.

I tend to agree Casper but probably, well certainly more cautious than you, as much as I believe in a stock I can’t just sing it’s praises too highly for risk of being ignorant to other possibilities. But optimism and belief is required when you are being put to the test! but sometimes that belief becomes more real than reality and that is unhealthy. You simply cannot blindly believe. There is always something more we don’t understand or fully grasp both in the heavens and on Earth. That said, when you look at the FACTS, when you focus on the real not the noise, that’s when things start to become clear. And gives us the strength to either let go or stand strong. I fully am aware something out of our control could send this to the grave, as with everything in life! but as it stands, I lean toward your optimism, because the test looks like it’s going to be ok, maybe even great, and the world needs it to recover and move forward. And this is not the only opportunity with this test nor the company. And for that reason, with caution in m veins I still remain confident. With news genuinely on the cusp of being released, our belief and research will be put to one last test, before the test.. It’s all very weird.

Second shake?

If that was just an orchestrated drop to free up shares it was poor form.

Don’t think it weakness thinking to sell on a sharp drop, I did, you can research all you want and still get caught out by corruption in AIM stocks. After all, it’s your money and who wants to loose it so randomly without reason! But then sometimes your have to think well what is the reason? Has there been lots of negative signs? No, have they announced mass testing in schools? Yes, has anything changes since yesterday? No, not that we know. A drop like that is unnerving but it achieved what it wanted.

That is certainly a very high possibility StarKnight, we very well know feee float is low, we know shares are in short supply and what is the one way you can grab as many as you can.. a big shake on no news.

I mean this is a very hard free shake to be fair. It’s a proper one. Stop losses being triggered all over, and creating a panic sell atmosphere. Unnerving, but until news reality still the same! can only go on that. I’ve seen this before on multiple stocks pre game changing news. So I hope it’s that.

I mean, with results literally due within the next few days and having watched this from the start. The only way they’re going to force shares from hands is by triggering stop losses of larger holders and sweeping up the herd panic sells on the side. I’m not running a marathon just to quit at the finish line.. but thats just me. Testing in schools across the country.. hmmm do you want a 20 min wait, 3 times a day per pupil or sub 5 mins probably quicker. Hmmmmmm. Same same for everything else, festivals/events/ports etc etc globally. Oh and not to mention other disease prevention. Yeah I think I’ll hold thanks.

Great to see a path laid out ahead. It’s important to see globally not locally. We are far from being out of the woods yet globally. Rapid testing will be required at many many places for a good while and will also be essential for detecting variants. With travel open, there are countries where we will see many more mutations yet and just like the flu, a vaccine will sadly not be effective against all. I’m afraid covid will be here for a decade yet. And simply masks and rapid testing will be an essential way of sustaining any form of normality. End of story. Opening boarders and encouraging travel this early on is very risky, especially as the world has no where come close to conquering this. mutations on every continent flooding through the the uk and every other port. Interesting times ahead. Certainly not been shaken out of any shares today!!
