Quiet start to the week. A positive RNS would be very welcome this week, keeping the upward momentum on the SP. Come on QED you can do it!

To be accurate, there is no limit on the amount you can pay into a pension or SIPP. It is only the amount attracting tax-relief that is limited.

Hopefully, that's exactly what they're working at now!?

Given how long it's taking to sign the flaming agreement, despite some preparatory work being done, I can't see the trial starting in Q3 and Q4 could be a stretch for these slow moving behemoths?

I must admit when first skim reading this RNS, my initial thoughts were, meh! more testing, less focus, ages away etc. However, having listened more thoroughly to JM interview on the subject, I now realise this is a potentially very positive step and could easily end up a stand-alone lucrative project in future.

Yet another string to the QED bow and when shooting fish in a barrel, I guess the more fish, the better chance of success!

Good to see they have taken my advice on how to answer such questions to avoid giving (false hope) timelines when they haven't a clue.

That's a new name to me DoN. I try to keep up to date with company correspondence but can't say I remember hearing of them.

While corruption is no doubt a worldwide issue, it does seem to be particularly rife in Central/South America. Very difficult to get a foot in the door when you haven't even bribed the security guards at the gates.

I have said before, MSAR would be a huge benefit to PEMEX and help bring about a change in their financial performance.

Now, given the state of PEMEX/Mexico, I would be very hesitant in getting involved there. At the very least, money up front for any trials or work taken up.

In the absence of any negative news, it would appear today's trading is mostly short-termers taking profits. Hopefully more good news soon to push the SP towards 3p, making them regret their short-term approach to what could be an outstanding long-term play from here?

Some good news around some of the "smaller" projects was just what I hoped for to achieve a steady SP rise before the big news drop of the 3-way agreement signed off and hopefully a 3 figure %age rise on the back of that.

With the positive news on permitting and the revelation of preparatory works ongoing for MSC trial, I'd like to think the agreement cannot be far away now??

While we wait, positive updates on other projects, (Valkor unitisation agreed, Far East refinery trials etc) or even an announcement that Cespa have agreed with QED and OCP to produce fuel on a commercial basis, would be welcome!

Like everything else, it's all relative and depends on your own position. I count myself fortunate that my "in the black" price is much lower than some for whom a 0.5p rise will indeed look like chicken feed.

For anyone coming to QED in H2 last year these rises will look significant and even those buying in around the time of the last offer, will be quids in.
