The biggest takeaway for me is, why was it not Jason?

Is he away signing contracts? ;-)

Or more likely, on holiday aboard his yacht in the Maldives.

Unless of course, Shell are looking at QED fuel offerings as being superior to "traditional" Biofuels and are considering altering the design/construction of the plant accordingly, dependent on MSC trial results?

Missed timelines - Radio Silence - SP falls.

Looks like the rinse and repeat cycle is continuing as the BoD again fail to meet their predicted timelines, results in the slow drift down of SP.

They need cash, put out some good news on projects with estimated timelines we have no control over, sucker-in the (mug) LTSHs and away we go again.

We badly need some good news soon or the SP will inevitably return to 1-1.5p, then when news eventually does arrive the uplift on the back of it just takes us back to where we were 2-2.5p. It's pathetic, we're getting nowhere!

What does it matter?

This from September 2022;

"Prabhat Jha, went on to highlight MSC’s partnership on a proof of concept with fuel supplier, Quadrise, to use cleaner and more efficient fuel. MSC will trial the use of Quadrise’s oil-in-water emulsion fuels (MSAR and bioMSAR), which produce 25% less NOx and lower CO2 emissions. Trials are set to commence in Q1 2023 and to be completed by Q3 2023."

Should have been completed 9 months ago, hasn't even started. All mouth, no action!

Anyone tried to contact the BoD recently? Are they living up to their mission statements re. shareholder communication?

Also, it would appear any plans to drill wells have been shelved and remain a secondary project to the 2x 5,000 bpd plants. Until we hear differently of course.

I know it's not 5 o'clock before any of the usual apologists say, but it looks like Q2/H1 closes out with a whimper rather than a bang, ensuring our hapless BoD continue to look completely incompetent at meeting their own stated timelines. Not unexpected but disappointing just the same.

I can't remember the exact event or development 18 or so months ago, when I felt January 2024 would see the company flying and an SP somewhere north of 10p. Alas no, next quarter, next quarter, next half etc. etc. Time moves on but the elusive company changing event seems to continue to move on too, always 3m/6m/1yr ahead. At a risk of sounding morbid, none of us are getting any younger and some of us are already in the last third/quarter of our limited time. I remain optimistic we will turn the corner at some point and hope I am still young enough to enjoy some of the fruits of my long-term commitment to this company. One current crumb of comfort is the SP holding up reasonably well given another milestone travelled in hope....

Wonder if any of the BoD would like to place a bet? Insider betting being all the rage just now...

At a risk of being accused of "speaking ill of the dead", my main hope now is that it was himself, (John Potter) "the driving force", who was stubbornly clinging on to the pie in the sky dream of 2x 5,000 bpd CORT plants.

I sincerely hope those in charge are now looking at the Valkor/Trio operation and scaling back the company's ambitions initially, to a more realistic and achievable level.

We can but hope???

What a pity some well-intentioned, environmentally-friendly IIs don't see everything QED say and do, as positively as our own Stockcheque. I guess they're just mere mortals unable to read Tarot, (or tea leaves) or don't have a crystal ball to "illuminate" the future??

I've around 9 million shares, you can count on mine for an EGM vote. The company's lack f communication with shareholders is a disgrace!

Not the news we were looking for and they really need to get their fingers out on MSC, Morocco and Utah or in 6 months time we'll be preparing for the begging bowl coming out again.

FFS, get out of the lab and get some deals signed!

Pure speculation of course but I wonder if something along these lines are holding up the "December" 3-way agreement? Maybe Cargill believe MSC are demanding too much cut from the share of the profits and are thinking to themselves, " we could do the trials ourselves, stuff MSC and their demands".

Who knows? IMO, it's certainly not minor details being thrashed out by lawyers. That boat sailed a while ago.
