While I have been calling for the funding elephant in the room to be sorted out sooner rather than later, I'm very disappointed at the 3p offer price. 4.5p or at worst 4p would have been acceptable but this price reeks of desperation to me and despite our chief ramper's best efforts, the investment community obviously remain very sceptical of QED's performance.

The projects update once again reads of delay/jam tomorrow as we continue with experiments and trial preparations but unfortunately, we still seem many months away from selling our fuel commercially, (not trial quantities).

MSC trial now scheduled for Q2, - I'll go for H2 now.

Morocco still not started, - hate to say it but I was right and who knows when it will start, (certainly not Stoppedclock!).

Valkor oil first produced Sep 24 yet samples not even sent for testing.

Yadda, yadda, yadda. I now don't expect to see any commercial supply agreement in force in 2025. They're hopeful to have it in place by June 2026 before the new cash runs out again.

Agreed Wazaaa, OCP could have been using MSAR for years, albeit on a smaller scale to the big prize we appear to be after now. Several trials have been deemed a success, yet still they seem to drag their heels on fully committing to the venture. Let's hope it's just typical of (snail pace) Government involvement and they do eventually start using our fuels commercially.

I wouldn't say very negative SJS. Very negative would have been saying OCP are just stringing us along and have no intention of using our fuels. My suggestion the trial has probably not started yet is based on the numerous false dawns on this OCP project, going back many years. Considering JMs many erroneous timescale predictions on Morocco, why should I believe the trial will be complete "imminently"?

However, I remain ever hopeful of a positive update.....

You have no idea what "timeline" OCP is on. JM obviously doesn't either as he has constantly got his timings wrong on this project.

I suppose some might read the RNS as negative given we were told we would be getting the Valkor funds ($1m) last December and the majority of that cash injection is now Dec 25!

Getting some of this capital in the short-term does help extend the cash runway by 5-6 weeks but it does not fully alleviate funding concerns in the medium term. Once this has been addressed, a lot of uncertainty should be removed and the SP could be let loose??

I find the amendment a bit strange and a couple of potential reasons are;

There is not a full size MMU available due to other project requirements, hence smaller unit and partial payment?

Or, SB has told JM HSO need to keep as much of the initial investment for themselves in order to fund the remaining initial wells development and get things moving faster?

Whatever the reason, it remains a positive step in the right direction and if 1, could it be the trial in Morocco has started, or starting "imminently"? Or less likely a MMU required for Panama or Far East?

Excuse me! You were adamant the Valkor funds would arrive in December, I said no chance, I was right. That doesn't make me a "troll" as you put it, it makes me a realist. You on the other hand continually ramp your shares, making things up to suit your agenda and pretending to be the global expert on everything!

Given where we are now, I doubt there will be any problem raising a modest amount of capital in the whole scheme of things. Unlike last time, I'm sure existing shareholders would be willing to fund this, although they may be considering alternative options to simplify things and keep costs down.

DoN, I fully agree with your comments re Steve Byle and his optimistic timeframes could rival our own JM at times. Just a hunch, but I feel the drilling/downhole heating/extraction is not going to produce the quantities hoped for, especially in the next few months. Hence, I don't think the Valkor funds will be coming our way anytime soon, (love to be proved wrong though!).

That said, the whole region oil/msar story could develop into something huge and despite SBs comments re producing for asphalt users, (for a quick cash return) we know well the big bucks will need our tech to unlock.

I'd just like to see a limited cash raise (£5-6m) in the short-term to remove cash doubts and allow the obvious initial capex required to progress projects until regular commercial income arrives from whatever source.

I believe the "funding" elephant in the room is the only thing holding us back at present, simply because we don't know any of the details involved, (what price, how much etc.). It doesn't take a genius to work out cash reserves must be getting low and Valkor is not happening anytime soon. The sooner this is sorted the better and we can move on from a position of doubt to a position of opportunity the better.

Personally, I think they already had someone lined up but the "funder" probably wanted to see some progress prior to getting involved. Hopefully they now see where we are headed and come on board. With a bit of luck, whoever it is might give the SP a bit of a boost via their involvement???
