No idea, inexplicable with a variety of good news due imminently. MMs fishing? (I know I've suggested that before.) Quick glance at today's trades looks like lots of people taking opportunity to buy below 30p. Should have saved my buy yesterday for today! A penny or two won't matter in a few days / weeks though! GLA
Admin - thanks for fixing!
Why are you showing MKA down 3.13% ? It's UP 3.4%
approaching all time high territory. and have a look at the 3 month sp trend chart - classic rising channel, higher highs and higher lows. Looking really good, and as Dibs says, important news due anytime, either of which will give sp a further tremendous boost.

Kay - thanks for the calcs. I think we need to be a little cautious. The 1st offtake agreement is for 22k tonnes per month. Will be good news when we get similar to take the other 22k (min) MHW will be producing. Where did your $95 / tonne production cost come from? I think the selling price will be less than you show, partly because contract is for short tonnes and partly because volume discount has been agreed (no details as far as I can see).
So I think your numbers could be scaled back a little for day 1. But I have no doubt, with imminent infrastructure boom - US and further afield - more offtake agreements are in the pipeline, and we may get on to 2nd 'Superior' Highwall Miner pretty quickly. There's also potential to expand the resource in the wider district.
Even with my more conservative view I think based on initial production (assuming all product sold) market cap should be 2-3x current (i.e. within next couple of months), and if all goes to plan, greatly in excess of that going forward.
Very exciting times. GLA
Velcro - thanks for sharing, v interesting read. Looks to me like MKA are doing all the right things at just the right time. Should be v interesting coming months and years ... unless / until we get bought. GLA
Looks like diversionary effort being made. The fact of the matter is today's RNS is an excellent announcement and comes on top of 2 others this week. Well done ORPH I should think investors would say.
JB - maybe you're right and the company has forgotten the changes they have made, what the name of their legal entity is, Dr Pleguezuelos didn't approve the details associated with this announcement, and SEEK didn't ask for PepTcell to be used in this announcement. Or maybe you're wrong.
JB - wrong. I contacted Walbrook who advised the following: 'The quote, company designation and title were those that were approved and provided by PepTcell / SEEK Group and approved by Dr Pleguezuelos. As pointed out in the announcement PepTcell Limitd is the legal name of SEEK Group ... It is the name / designation that SEEK Group asked to be used in the announcement. ConserV Bioscience Limited is a subsidiary of PepTcell Limited.'
chas - yes, wondering if this opens the door to the Imutex spin-out ..
this looks like excellent news. I note Dr Olga's comment: 'The next step is to evaluate clinical efficacy in a controlled human challenge study or in a study in endemic areas.' I imagine we will be able to help with a human challenge study and would think this would be a quicker way to progress. Potentially huge public health gains so I imagine industry will be watching this very carefully. Dr Olga again: ' Many mosquito-borne diseases lack effective preventative and therapeutic treatments, so AGS-v PLUS could potentially save many lives.' And CF: 'There are more than 600,000 deaths worldwide per year from mosquito borne diseases, as such, if these positive Phase I results translate into clinical efficacy, the potential number of lives saved will be significant.' Will be interesting to hear the reaction to the presentations at the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene ("ASTMH") Annual Meeting over the weekend.
This has been a very good week for ORPH news. Well done and thanks to CF and team.
Haha, I know you're only joking and deep down you most likely agree with my humble opinion.
I suspect he doesn't want IIs on board - look at the damage they are causing, plus may be problematic with both forthcoming spin-offs and likely sale of core ORPH. Short term pain for longer term gain.
Haggis - mms. Given the huge short term potential I am sure there will be buy orders in from large investors and mms will be using all their tools and tricks to fill them. Once in production and cash and profit positive sp will be much higher. They will be looking to get in before that happens. All IMHO of course.
Well done CF and team. Another substantial contract this morning. Excellent news and tangible evidence of demand for core ORPH services.
Don't be ruffled by more mm fishing / sp manipulation this morning. Eyes on the prize. Into production, generating cash and profit this side of Christmas. Fantastic opportunity! GLA
I thought this from sportstrader earlier today was so good and helpful that I would re-post it:
'Have to say that was a brilliant talk by Bruno and I've come out of that the most positive as I've ever been with Orph. Its very clear that everything is going ahead and literally no concerns from MHRA at all and theyve been outstanding throughout the whole process being very supportive with us. There are a lot of companies from small to large biotechs in discussions with us and a number of those are very advanced. These are ranging from vaccines to anti virals. Both will happen and the delays are out of Cathals hands, its a very complex environment with so many parties involved so takes time to review the paper.
I missed the first bit of the talk as well so probably more to the talk, but just a few snippets before the video is available to watch back.
I WILL buy more tomorrow. Very very confident here'
Sportstrader - that is very helpful and encouraging. Thanks for sharing.
Halls - I wasn't. Tell us more please ...
do we think anyone is actually selling any of these at the moment? I can't imagine why anyone would. Quick glance at today's trades (on this site) looks like a long list of piddling little things - are these auto-generated in some way, perhaps to control the price?
