Once you look beyond the short term timescale issues that will be frustrating retail punters (i imagine behind todays drop) I suspect a fresh drill is actually long term good news. Pity they could not get the insurers to agree this approach sooner….but that the insurance industry for you. Hydrocarbons with a lot of pressure are proven to be there, this dip may we’ll be a buying opportunity . I am holding onto what I’ve got… believe in circa 6-12 mths this should look very different….gla, but respect to those who need to release their cash now

Anyoneforcricket, Colin Harrington has a total interest in 9.511% of the current issued share capital of the company, any suggestion is that he is only acting on self interest is laughable. Yes it has been a frustrating two years but they are trying to control a monster at 36-2R. With all eyes on the company with what happened at the blowout at 36-2 you too would be taking time to get it right.

The company has to meet ever stringent government screening and close monitoring from the Insurance company.

IMO all will start to pull together when (and if) 36-2R comes good - and it is a BIG if!

Missed this in the RNS.....Just leaves the door open for BHP to invest further in East Star and/or projects:-

The grant is a once off opportunity and there are no obligations or commitments on East Star beyond the conclusion of the Xplor programme; however, East Star has committed to grant BHP certain pre-emption rights with respect to investments in East Star or its projects within the programme.

Its on a rising trend, so that's good enough for me at the moment.

After years and years of previous placings VAST consolidated 100-1 in 20 Apr 2021. AP being CEO.

Since then its placing after placing after placing with the Diamonds yet again being pushed to the fore.

Success-based payments related to the definition of JORC-classified Resources, with at least 50% being estimated within the Indicated and/or Measured categories.

· A maximum of 10 Resource payments are payable on the release of JORC Inferred Resource milestones (set at 1-million-ounce increments) in relation to Mbe;

· BCM will pay Oriole the First Resource Payment of US$1m on the release of a 1-million-ounce JORC-classified Resource in relation to Mbe;

· Additional resource payments of US$1m each will be due for each additional million ounces JORC-classified Resources reported at Mbe up to 5 million ounces, and will increase in value for the remaining five milestones to 10 million ounces;

· A maximum Cumulative Resource Payment of US$20m will be payable by BCM to Oriole on delivery of a 10-million-ounce JORC-classified Resource.

The clue is in the JV Success parameters as to where this is going:-

Success-based payments related to the definition of JORC classified Resources, with at least 50% being estimated within the Indicated and/or Measured categories.

· First Resource Payment: on the release of a 1-million-ounce JORC-classified Resource in relation to the Project, BCM will pay Oriole the sum of US$1m in cash;

· Second Resource Payment: on the release of a 2-million-ounce JORC-classified Resource in relation to the Project, BCM will pay Oriole an additional sum of US$1 million in cash; and

· Third Resource Payment: on the release of a 3-million-ounce JORC-classified Resource in relation to the Project, BCM will pay Oriole an additional sum of US$1 million in cash.

Looks like this is just the start! This is the result of 2 out of 10 licences and a lot of hard work by the BOD.

Looks like the results of the sampling are good - JV signed even before sampling results issued.

Lovely - More resource just based on the increase in gold price. Now at $3000 what could the resource be!

As per the previous maiden Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate, the updated MRE has been estimated using the same 28 diamond holes for a total of 3,840m. No new drilling has been completed since the December 2022 MRE. However, the improved gold price has increased the size of the Resource pit shell, resulting in an increase in the strike length of the resource model to 1,268m (from 1,220m), and a slight extension of its depth to 263m below surface.

The Mbe Earn-In Agreement is conditional on the successful conclusion of BCM's due-diligence review. BCM has recently completed a three week-long site visit and collected 639 samples which are now being prepared for analysis. Results are anticipated in late January.

What's not to like!

Following execution of the HoT, BCM will, at its own cost, complete a period of due diligence ('Due-Diligence Period') at Mbe, ending no later than 31 January 2024;

o Following execution of the Earn-In Agreement and subject to a positive outcome of that Due-Diligence Period, BCM will pay Oriole US$1m cash payment ('Signature Payment');

o BCM will commit to US$4m in exploration expenditure, focused on defining Resources at the Licence;

o Further success-based payments from BCM to Oriole, the level of which is subject to the number of resource ounces reported under JORC.

What's not to like!

VAST at one point were thinking of doing JV with this company.

Just switch off and hold... quite simple really.

IMO Share holders and the market have lost some confidence in Zephyr. But hopefully 2024 will be a much brighter year.
