Just from another share chat forum... Aussie visitors have arrived in Wakefield for meetings. Obviously this could be total rubbish, but if there is any truth it could also be a lot more than nothing... Sounds like there's not much downside in holding for a bit longer...

Autumn divi not likely to be more than 2% and probably less... Not sure where you get 5% from which would be about 6p currently! I'm expecting 1.5p.

Somebody is clearly hoovering these up semi continually at present... We will have to wait to find out... Could simply be institutions getting ahead of themselves before it rejoins ft

Have to say I'm enjoying selling and buying back but with a very gradual unwind. Long way to go yet!

This must be a move towards a takeover at this point. I've sold a wedge but clearly loads of buys coming in. This is sustained buying - not usual trade patterns. I'm much more confident this will now hit 130p and then start to trigger ftse350 pressures so 150p is now my target. But will continue to take little profits as she goes. Good luck loyal holders!

At about 135p or so the stock will be on the verge of FTSE 350 market cap I believe... If it gets to this level it may fly higher, but I personally think it will get stuck at 120-125p as there are many private buyers who will take profits at that level. All depends on whether a takeover is on the cards (pardon the pun!)... No real sign of it just yet, but could change quickly. Anyone who was contemplating a takeover will now have their thoughts refocused!

I think you can ignore that Buy Sell rubbish. More wrong than right - especially for big transactions!

Getting closer to the point at which Index Funds will be taking notice! That's got to be worth a 10p uplift at least...

Teleios has shown little understanding or appreciation of Card Factory and it looked like they just wanted out. We obviously don't know why!

Have sold about 6% of my ridiculously over-exposed position over past few hours throwing away some excess profits but still doing rather nicely, and will now sit tight!

Funny thing is I reckon CF website is now better than MoonPig! Anyway, something is afoot, and it's not 12 inches.

My guess is Card Factory or MoonPig...

Trading update expected around 7th August I believe...

Interim dividend has already been mentioned so I would suggest is already baked in unless results are dire! Expecting 1.5p or a bit more paid round about Christmas then final div next June probably again. I'm hoping final div is again 4.5p so total div about 6p per share. Could be higher or even some sort of occasional special div and / or share buyback (both mentioned in annual report).

Some bigger trades being reported now. Mostly buys IMHO even if reported as sells. Good old lse - useless bunch (I should know - I once worked there for a year as a Consultant)...

With little reported activity (and most of those sales) I would put a reasonable wager on someone building up a position quietly with the help of the 'anything but transparent' UK stock market. Looks like a long way up from here, unless trading has deteriorated much more than most of us observe. The Matalan stores should be contributing something this year that they weren't last year as well.... I am hoping for another 'deal' overseas pretty soon as well. Onwards and upwards. All IMHO of course...

Decent momentum after a splendid update from a broker that doesn't usually smile on smaller UK businesses without good reason. Surprised they 'got it' but none of us are complaining. The trick now is to hang in there and not panic sell at £1 just because it's much better than 90p. Private investors will hold a lot of sway as this share gets close to FTSE350 and the index funds start buying...
