Saw a very high volume of low value trades last month I think. Could it be buys for management incentive plan - we see RNS’s for CEO and CFO where a handful of shares have been purchased as part of this type of arrangement. Just a though ?
Good luck to those holders, all I would say though is - how many times has this been here before ?
Wildly optimistic revenue and profit calculations, delusional SP targets, expecting Fooler to have changed his spots.
Keep your eyes wide open.
No doubting that this creates opportunities however how much can WSG make of those opportunities is the question. Whilst there have been some notable achievements in winning UK business these have not really translated to anything that can be classed as material or significant in scale.
Looks like Goldmans have issued a Sell rating.
Looks like the market knows something we don’t ?
Probably plodding along whilst eking out the Ghana port settlement as long as possible.
Let’s not forget that they previously stated on this that :
Whilst the figure is less than the carrying figure in its accounts, the Company believes the terms of the settlement are favourable and timely given the future targeted growth anticipated in early 2024 in the Group's managed services business
I suppose we can be charitable and say that we are still in early 2024 but no sign yet of this future anticipated growth.
Couldn’t Mark Hughes do it - double up with his CFO and Company Secretary roles and save the extra salary costs ?
Seems like a very dynamic, driven, charismatic and persuasive sort of chap. Just what’s needed.
Docs website says 25th - I trust that rather than LSE list. That says Burberry update on 19th when it was out Friday.
not sure the info on the lse link is accurate either. showing a burberry trading update for the 19th but this came out yesterday.
ordinarily i’d say to go with what the company has on their site but the company can’t be ****d doing that.
Not sure where they get information from and whether it’s accurate, it may be assumed from last years dates for some companies - as example Dr Martens is showing as 18th for Trading Update but the financial calendar in their own investor website has the date as 25th.
