What is overlooked on here is that Trump is mental and other powers are keeping him subdued and onside while they operate the strings. The power is with the Money and it isn't his. He's rapidly turning into a joke, albeit dangerous for the time being, but the Money doesn't like where the US is going. And neither do most of his electorate especially when unemployment continues rising.

Is another sharp GP drop followed by a substantial drop in GGP price so that I can buy more at say six quid. I live in hope. You never know Trump might say or do something sensible for a change. Perhaps the Chinese New Year might cause a big sell off in gold.

Be Contrarian - Of course but drop in the ocean compared with Chinese and Indians. Its becoming an extremely speculative market and one particular nation is more likely to gamble on gold. With little other (legal) investment opportunities many retail investors there are betting their homes on it. A bit like the recent craptocurrency frenzies.

Hardly a 'huge' drop in POG today. $400 . Get real its just we've all got used to continuous rising price over the last year. It qaa only week ago when it was, will it won't it go through $5000.
