Instead of just putting posters down .. please post something interesting .. Scancell is targeting the N and S proteins with government backing ... please let’s see a list of others in this ‘arena’ .. you suggest there are some if not many , you clearly have them all to hand ?

To open the world up we need a solution .. Coronavirus is buzzing and popping worldwide ... even successful countries like NZ will need to vaccinate their populations with quality vaccines to get through this and let people back in and out ‘freely’ .. otherwise it’s a merry go round of reactive planning against a mutating virus ! Not a pleasant thought at all eh !

There are solutions .. they just need developing rapidly ... (again!) ...

Of course as has been discussed here before, inhibitor/inhibitor combination trials don’t seem to raise the bar safely at all !?

What is required are more inhibitor/vaccine trials. There is persuasive logic that these sorts of trials will have better results.

I must say , seeing Lindy looking relaxed and well yesterday was certainly reassuring ... I wonder if the scientists working on Covid vaccines are high on the list to have the currently available ones ?

Between the discovery Lindy made (Moditope) .. and creating a product (Modi1) there has been much work done .. some of which was described today. All about getting as much ‘right’ as possible before commencement .. a lesson learned from the initial Scib1 trial perhaps .. but it’s all very fascinating !! (In my opinion!) ..

I heard this analogy that helps explain how difficult the choices are ..

If you have two elderly relatives say Grandparents, and only two doses of vaccine ... do you give both doses to one of them or one to each ??

This is supply problem and will be solved eventually, but as of now what would you do ??

The manufacturer of any product can only advise from clinical trials it has completed ... these are unprecedented times that call for thinking outside the box a little ... It’s easy to heckle from the sidelines but I imagine it’s incredibly difficult making these decisions under the current conditions to try and help as many people as possible ! A little empathy goes a long way .. (in my opinion) ...

I’d probably be a bit proactive Chelsea ... and also there is a bit of a postcode lottery with the vaccine delivery (this isn’t surprising as it’s a mammoth task) ..

My Mum in her 70s didn’t contact anyone and has had the vaccine last week (Northampton) .. whereas my wife’s grandmother in her mid 90’s only just had it (Coventry) due to a phone call from my wife’s sister (Nurse) asking why she hadn’t been contacted about it !!

Everyone has their own experience of course but ‘putting yourself on the map’ won’t do any harm !?
