@ crumbs, RE radio silence, yep we've had to turn detective using linkedin and job recruitment sites to get an idea of what's going.
But was it Dalester who said it felt like some due diligence was happening? Most obvious answer for the silence IMO, because we can see (even the dormers) from all the recruitment that lots is happening.

As highlighted by crumbs, I really think it's worth looking at who is listed as working for Scancell atm (according to Linkedin that is). The team has expanded perphaps even more than we realised:

@Crumbs, yep the Scancel Ltd Linked Page is looking very interesting IMO.
Whilst linkedin is never conclusive about who is working there, they seem to have filled the Antibody analyst role, the also have one of the project managers, and interestingly (IMO) a Clinical Project Associate who looks like they were part of the Oxford vaccine trial last year.

Good find and ...yes even just that last bit of the quote is full of possibilities. I hope the international refers to industry as well academia.

RE updates, whilst I'm usually one clamouring for a progress update, I would much rather have actual news now i.e. a blockbuster RNS! (Or should i say multiple RNS's!). IMO concrete news/action is due rather than progress updates I think now.

So definitely not a regular thing then?

Whilst we wait (im)patiently for news, I just wanted to reiterate what Dalester said yesterday as it got me thinking :

Now I would personally agree with this, and not just out of hopefulness, but because the slience is even more deafening than Scancells normal legendary standards, i.e. lack of material RNS's/tweets, the heavy recruitment drive which seems to have gone unmentioned by the company (even the senior role of Akua Asare (Head of Quality) was not RNS'd where as the appointments of Dr Gillies O'Bryan-Tear and Dr Robert Miller were).

But probably most importanly becaue of this, which is easy to forget:

Just FYI, there were I believe only two posters who posted what is probably best described as frustration/impatience (feel free to correct me on the number), everyone else who's posted today seem to be fairly relaxed about it all (IMO), so to say you seen "so many" seems like somewhat of a leap in conclusions...IMO.

Agree, somewhat frustrating, I'm one of the more impatient ones around here, however we know there is tonnes of potential news incoming but more recently the fact they are recruiting four more operational staff on top of the recent scientific recruitment drive means there must be a hell of lot happening in the background that we don't know about...yet.

Maybe (or maybe not) the extensive recruitment drive could have been mentioned by the company themselves somehow, maybe even Twitter (it took this board to highlight the new jobs). Whilst I'm frustrated a little, and frankly a little bored too, I think it's safe to say a lot is happening with Scancell behind the scenes, so it provides some reassurance.

Full steam ahead then!? You don't need manufacturing support unless major things are happening IMO!

Experts on the bio industry can chip in here but I get the feeling with such specialist roles and short application windows they have people in mind, i.e. a lot of headhunting/poaching going on? And possibly people already lined up?

Do all jobs have to be advertised externally as a matter of course?
