Surprised people are focusing on the somewhat remote possibility of a Redmile takeover, there are loads of positives in that NXC post, so many great quotes, my favourite paragraph:

As mentioned over on ADVFN, a good point IMO, butwhy do Scancell need to attend any events related to attracting new investors/funding now anyway? I wonder if that is a reason behind the cancellation/postponement? Is it now possibly a waste of time to attend these events...for the short term anyway?

Agree, that sounds the most logical explanation, however what I don't get is why cancel so late in the day or even agree to that particular proactive one2one event? Because Scancell knew their dates/timelines by then, i.e....

- Proactive/Scancell retweeted saying they were taking part in tomorrows Proactive One2One on the 24th July.
- The shareholder circular RNS came out on the 23rd July
- The capital raise RNS and Result of placing RNS came out on the 22nd July

So they agreed to attend after all the relevant RNS's and open offer dates were confirmed? Maybe it was pencilled in a while ago and proactive just tweeted as a default? Maybe I'm looking too deeply into it? Maybe I#m hoping it's one of @Moonparty's suggestions :)

p.s. any update on your Redmile findings?

I'd forgotten that tomorrow's proactive interview was with multiple companies, do we know if the rescheduled one will be just Scancell/Cliff Holloway on his own?

Maybe by then there will be too much to talk about so Scancell can't share the proactive platform!?
