Yes wondered that too. And related to that, I can see the government start also throwing more money to the likes of Nottingham/Scancell now that the second wave appears to taking hold, similar to what they did for oxford/Imperial but obviously on a smaller scale, as im sure they both received one or possibly two cash injections "after" the initial government funding?

Great find/investigating Bermuda! And yes higlights Redmiles approach/success in in finding investment targets and probabaly most notably their outstanding timing of their investments?

If that timeline is anything to go by then news for Scancell quite soon then!?

The point I was making Ruck was the sheer amount of spending power/the huge figures big pharma has for m&a, particularly cancer bios it seems.

Whilst I think Immunomedics are no baby bio(?) it shows how much big pharma is willing to spend. It's a monster deal regardless. Any experts care to examine the details? It looks like that's for only one product line too!?

Also the article highlights Gilead has been a big shopping spree recently.

Curious as to peoples thoughts about the recent rise.
Is it one of, or a combination of:
1) Word is (finally) getting out there and people are finally getting wise to the potential, the pipeline and the funding Scancell has?
2) Purely the covidity and/or the recent innovate funding/T-cells being brought to the fore?
3) Impending Avidimab deal(s)? - this one is my thinking
4) Some kind of leaky leaky?

Strange thing is we got the Innovate funding for Covid Vaccine RNS on the 27th August, a nice little spike and then a bit of a plateau, but if you look at the chart the sharper rise after the 3rd of Sept, when Richard Goodfellows options RNS was issued.

Someone mentioned the timing of this options RNS, and if it was done because news was impending, but I think that was dismissed as this is a standard thing? Either way I think we need more RNS's like that if it has contributed to the recent sharper rise :)

@knowelesi - I filtered you a long time ago because as @ratcilffe highlights you have had a clear agenda for a long while and for posting "fake news". And this is despite the fact I agreed with quite a few of your posts in the past, but I slowly realised your game. But fat lot of good your berating has done I guess? Very little ammunition to criticise the company must leave you feeling a little impotent atm? Anyway all IMO.

@ruckrover - I reposted from ratcliffes post where knowlesi said something like "you must hate it when I'm always right?" Is that not gloating? In fact ratcliffes reposts basically show nothing but gloating. Again IMO.

Scousemark, when the first mAbs deal partnership comes, then it we will get a proper re-rating IMO, it will make the current trend look like a gentle stroll...IMO.

Too many sensitive souls on here so I'm refraining from name calling :) ...as perhaps we "all" should from now on IMO. But lets try and keep it civil all (which is a bit rich coming from me...I know), interesting times for Scancell regardless of what is discussed on here now.

As you've perfectly highlighted, his/her posts were "blatantly" overly negative and biased, and full of cheeky little (deliberate?) errors/fake news statements (IMO) like "Scancell has no expertise in viruses, infectious diseases etc." That's one is an absolute classic btw :)

IMO there was always a clear agenda...if anyone cannot see that now after reading your post RW, well clearly they are in denial... IMO :)

Hi Burble, i don't know if you ever watched the Bake Off for Stand up To Cancer specials, the interludes were cancers stories, often of kids, just too heart wrenching, almost puts me off watching this one too :/

Despite mentioning the programming in the first instance I was not able to watch it all sadly. How was the little girl?
