@RayPointer - yes, for me similarities in the stories here of Ugur Sahin/Özlem Türeci and Professor Durrant are noticably similar, the long careers in devloping vaccines for cancer and then adapting them to fight viruses. It does (IMO) provide high hopes for Covidity/Professor Durrants/Scancells work. As you say "We know Scib1 exceeded Lindy's expectations especially when the patient had the main tumours removed by surgery." And it's been mentioned that cancer is harder to tackle than viruses too.

Lets not forget Ugur Sahin has worked with Scancell via the Cancer Research UK for project blueprint, redmiles involvement in both companies etc. Lots of similarities and connections.

Yes I've noticed this too, and yes always painted as a fact, as if somehow they know "exactly" when news will drop? Must have insider info or be able to predict the future I'm guessing, if so I'd love tonights EuroMillions numbers????
But huge, significant news could drop anytime i.e. Covidity being given extra gov funds to fastrack etc. And I for one don't think news has to neccesarily wait for trial data...all IMO (as I can't predict the future unlike some).
