Actually, I take that back! Theres actually only couple of trader types with the #SCLP hashtag, the rest seem to be Scancell supporters/ supporters of the science, or LTH's, rightfully pushing the news from the RNS and how SN14 could help in the covid fight. Apologies.

Yes, like you say they must be really quite worried if they are prepared to "cancel Christmas" at such short notice, especially as the current vaccine rollout is in progress.

Yes fully agree, as per my earlier "Boris Johnson" thread which alluded to this.
SN14 could, no...should be fastracked now IMO, regardless that is meant to be a 2nd gen.
P.S. I stand by my argument that Scancell/Nottingham should have got funding much much sooner, so that it was closer/quicker to being developed, watching the expansion rate of this new strain, it may sadly cause he biggest wave yet.

And as a reminder from yesterdays (IMO) blockbuster RNS:

Had to emphasise the "any" there. IMO I do think there will be a lot of eyes on SN14 now, both from a governmental and private/big pharma point of view.

Also...I assume existing vaccines would need to be re-tested for the new strain(s)? If so at what stage of testing would this be?
