With GSK signing up with Curevac I'm not sure it will be them that Scancell could potentially partner with, which is a shame what with them being UK based, however it's clear that the template of big pharma partnering with smaller pharma/academia is now firmly established for Covid vaccines. Makes you wonder who Scancell is talking to, and which big pharmas have yet to make a mark yet with Covid?

Although nothing to stop GSK partnering with multiple partners I guess?

Also just noticing more media mentions of 2nd generation vaccines and their importance RE variants.

The TW link may be tenuous perhaps, however more importantly, for me the key question is why do certain posters only appear at certain times, posting in a certain way, and in a concerted way too? Surely at the very least it's to attempt to help them trade the share?

However I agree with RuckRover, another awful gaffe by CH/ the PR team with a terribly worded RNS, which almosts provide perfect ammunition for the derampers... IMO.

Now i know this discusion has come up before and it's proabaly a little less important than it used to be, however i felt it was worth bringing up again.

Whilst the influence of this bulletin board, in fact any share BB is questionable, but in times of small trades/low volume perhaps they can have some influence on the share price? We have seen recently tiny UT affecting the price recently for example.

Anyway the point im trying to make is we saw two posters re-appear this morning who post very infrequently, we'll call them Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, and almost like clockwork, they appear on the morning of a very badly worded RNS by CH (which could be interpreted in different ways), with brand new posts with panic inducing titles and post content that comes across very "very" negative, very doom laden and borderline nasty in it's overtones.

Now it's a given these posters have level 2, and maybe having have seen the sell orders lining up pre 8am, and then decided (IMO) to twist the RNS in as overly negative way as they can (without sounding to silly), wait for the expected dip, potentially enhanced by said posts, mop up some cheap shares for trading a later time. It's potentially a lucrative gig for these guys, if somewhat sleazy way of doing thing...IMO.

Also i'm inclined to think it is one and the same person using multiple accounts, fuuny how their posts are seconds apart?

BUt maybe there is even more to it, not only as a concerted effort to trade and/or have an active dislike of the company so want to badmouth it if a potential opportunity arrives like todays RNS, because check out our old friend TW today

Btw im not saying this is unique to Scancell or this BB, im sure other companies are targeted too.

I also think it is also worth checking out the posting history of said posters.

Anyway if said posters did help the price over-reaction today, thanks for letting me top up very cheaply :)

P.s. i could be completely off the mark of course, but the consistency of said poster(s) and sharetalk spouting off about Scancell today (yet again) makes me wonder

P.P.S. isn't AIM regarded as the wild west of investing? Guess anyone will do anything to make a quick buck? So trust no-one.

Agree with below, taking SCIB2 is a big blockage removed isn't it, both in terms of progressing it and the commercial viability of Scancell as a whole (all assets in house)?

Bringing back in all the products/portfolio in house could be to tidy things up, the pre cursor to something bigger perhaps? Or at the very least someone else is interested in ScIb2, as alluded to by CH in the RNS?

Is this purely because it's such a poorly worded RNS? A big over reaction surely? (But CH needs to step away from issuing of news from now on I think and give the reins to someone else either way).
But this doesn't sound like bad (or new) news to me, exploring a new partner/Scancell are considerably cash richer now too, so what is the issue exactly?

Transformative? I'm guessing these proactive reports are glorified promos where the interviewer is spoon fed questions directly from Scancell/interviewee (judging by the fact there are no difficult questions and the answers seem fully rehersed), and there fore the title of the report is supplied by Scancel too?? So a clue?

Also the end of the interim RNS:

Looking back, don't think they've specifically thanked shareholders, only comments like ""Our shareholders have continued to support and show great interest in the Company..." etc. Again, a clue?

As I say, straw clutching after a pretty poor day IMO. I'm just genuinely confused by the (apparent?) lack of urgency, espcially for Covidity? Not just for the share price but for the need to fast track and get it out there. Obviously we don't know all the ins and outs but all very strange IMO.
