@konarA - I've asked before but could Scancell pay back their UKRI funding to remove any obligation and essentially severe ties?
I think the fact 2 X British universities are involved may be a big factor here also?

Also who is the Scottish bio (Valvena?) who partnered with a European big pharma just recently? I'm sure there are other examples just can't remember atm.
