Fair point violindog, although could look at it as an opportunity to get shares whilst they they are (potentially) cheap :) Seems to be some decent sized buys swooping up these cheaper shares? Assume they're buys?

Also, when it does move out of this narrow range, I have a feeling it could be very fast moving as we have seen before.

Small flurry of small trades at exactly the same time. Second time this week.

Tiny volume/small trades on quiet days seem to have a disproportionate affect on the SP as your mention, IMO this is why I feel those flurry of tiny trades we saw the other (and in the past) are there just to cause SP tickdowns/panics and potentially hit any stops?

Glad you agree with me crumbs, I've been saying that since day one. I think inanaco called it "just in case" money. Cliff Holloway has also stated is was never quite all the amount they needed, hence Redmile adding to the required amount. Also don't forget it took four whole months to get it. Clearly only Oxford and Cambridge (i.e. MP alumni) universities are considered truly worthy.

My understanding is that the longer and narrower a tightening range goes on the more likely a breakout is going to happen (hopefully on the upside!). Google Bollinger band squeeze and NR4 and NR7. We have seen similar patterns before a breakout.
But those with more knowledge than me can confirm this...or not.

@crumbs, it was based purely on Bidens announcement and the charts looking oversold, not to mentioned the research i did and others did on here RE Biden and news coming out from the likes of Merkel. Great thing about American stocks is they really move because of better liquidity. But it was a quick in and out trade, a respectable 22% odd return in two days. I had no idea they were releasing results today though lol...but you may have a point RE longer term. @roses RE brokers, that was both Barclays and IG, hence why i was really surprised you had an issue on there.

But agree, can not sell a certain range/block as on Friday i.e. 100 to 10,000, not sure the exact range.
