Hi all. What does the Vantage Towers IPO mean for current VOD shareholders pls? I thought initially that we would get some kind of divi or they were going to pay down debt, but now I think I am reading that VOD will use the money to buy back shares??? Appreciate it if anyone can explain in Layman terms for me pls. Cheers Welsh

Think people are expecting too much from the Sharebuyers chat with GM. Unless there is an RNS before it, then the info. In the video will only be a rehash of what we already know. Stop messing around GM and give us some concrete news in a RNS pls. Cheers Welsh

Hi Hartlebury. Yes looking forward to the rugby, going to be a tough game! Interesting to hear that a group of 16 people have been working on Variants since virtually the beginning of Covid. I just hope that GM can soon put my mind at rest that NCYT are also playing a big part in this process. Enjoy the game, all the best, Welsh.

I stand by what I posted on Friday. An II is either selling down their position or someone has opened up a short. People will direct me to websites of different companies who supposedly track this info, but they all state different figures! Something not right here at the moment with NCYT. Fingers crossed it can turn itself around. Welsh

Hi ShaunP. That is my point really. How reliable and accurate is the information if different sources are reporting different answers. Like every data system ever invented, it's only as good as the data that is inputted. How often do these sources update their projected figures do you know pls? Cheers Welsh

Hi Bluelight. I hope you are right about the share price being 'managed' but we have seen it time and time before that figures reported for holdings in companies and short positions are not always accurate either! Time will tell, cheers Welsh.

Persistant selling is not retail investors selling out, it is an II. Or it is being shorted.

An II or II's have either got to be selling down their holding or shorting NCYT imo. I'm not an expert, but something is driving and keeping this share price down. I'll probably get lots of abuse now, but I'm well invested in NCYT as are most on here and #NCYT twitter feed. The only way I think we will eventually see a fair share price is if an honest takeover approach is made. Unfortunately being involved with UK Gov is hindering us in a way as it limits the amount of info. the company can divulge. Saying that the PR for decent non Gov contracts are deemed to be not worthy of an RNS or even a Tweet! In that respect I feel the company has gotten a bit ahead of itself. Lets hope we start gaining some traction soon and head back towards double digits. Have a good weekend all. Stay safe. Welsh.

Can someone explain what effect the Vantage Towers IPO is going to have for VOD shareholders pls? No effect, special dividend, reduced share holding, but shares in Vantage Towers... I see that the stated today that there will be an update on 15 FEB. Nice to see a bit of a rise today. Divi being paid on Friday :-) Hope everyone is keeping safe and well, all the best Welsh.
