Just on the shareprice you have to factor in also risk, vs reward. Are there better gains possible on 'flavour of the month' AIM stocks and chasing around - it is very possible. But would you put 90%+ of your portfolio on one of those stocks? I wouldn't. Proper research takes time, I think as PIs we have maybe opportunity to research a few stocks really deep and establish trust in everything, from the commodity to the mgt team to the financial position of the company. Or, you can punt for 5 stocks at 20% each weighting of portfolio and accept the risk one or two won't work out.
If you had £30k in here at 3p, with proper patience, you should see £300-500k in due course. For many that would be a mortgage free house purchase (at least in some parts of the country!) You have to be patient but this is a 10 bag potential at least from those levels, you just might not see it happen in a single year, like GGP, like EUA.
The most important aspect of Horizonte for me is not that it has 10 bag potential - that's great, but what's better is it has 10 bag potential with very low downside risk. Certainly from my average purchase price. I'm talking to my sister about her stake here at the moment as she will want the cash sooner than I need it, and I'm saying hold for 2023 at least for a much fuller valuation. Personally I'm happy to wait out the decade because I think divis will start to roll - always assuming we stay independent. GLA
