Your’e welcome Gabriel. If you have Facebook, it could be worth finding the post on ‘Your Southend’ page, as the comments are worth a read.
posted on Your Southend news on Facebook the other day. I hope that this clears things up for people?
“News: Amazon are opening a distribution hub at Southend Airport, with dedicated Amazon cargo flights expected to begin this week.
The online retailer is reported to be working with a third-party called ASL Airlines as the company expands its European distribution network.
Parcels are expected to be transferred to Southend Airport by road from Amazon's distribution centres in Basildon and Tilbury. The parcels will then be prepared for flights by a new cargo team based at the airport.

Amazon never seem to link themselves to freight operations. I assume that this is due to the enviromental impacts and their commitments to this?
A good RNS just out announcing a new freight operation from SEN on a 2 year contract. Will definitely be a great additional revenue stream for the airport.
The start of the next leg up? Exciting times ahead!!
And the RNS we have been waiting for has landed. Roll on 8am!
Good observation! I just had a look back through the RNS’ and you’re right.. most are on Thursdays.
This should go into the blue this afternoon, as it has done most days after a red morning.
I fully agree with you supercharger. Stobart has so much going for them this year/next year.
They know exactly what they are doing and I am sure we will see continuous improvements and changes along the way that will generate additional revenue streams and PAX.
Southend Airport alone has huge potential (new airlines? 3 new hotels, increased PAX) and this is not taking into consideration Biomass, Carlisle, Durham Tees and other projects.
Im confident that this share price will head in the right direction soon enough.
Today has been another big tick in the box earlier than anticipated. No concerns by me, as we are in a better situation than we have been when the share price has been between 6-9p in my opinion.
It’s nice to see Sanj and Aiden so positive about the company and their passion towards driving the company in the right direction.
We have to remember that it is a start up tech company and with that comes a lot of changes and adapting to make the business work. The figures don’t mean much at all at this stage and a low revenue and high losses is to be expected for now (Uber, Justeat, Deliveroo would have all made losses whilst developing the software). They are building a platform and once they have the recipe right (pardon the pun) the revenue will come.
Have a good day all and let’s hope for a good blue afternoon.

#DISH CEO "The summer period enables us to put our heads down and work hard on the 'non visible' aspects of the business.
From September onwards, I expect BigDish to be firing on all cylinders across the whole country..."
RNS early next week??
Ronald, seeing as you have announced that you have sold your ‘3 million shares’, can you please just leave this board?
You’re opinions are poisonous and the majority of us are here to discuss a company that we believe in.
It’s been a good end to the day! A good amount of buys this afternoon.
In my opinion, we have hit the lowest point we will see anytime soon, based on the end of last week and the way that it turned around today? I think we will start to see a steady rise back upto a sensible price with a few small blue days over this week. Now the panic selling after the RNS is over, people will start to realise that the company has such huge potential when you look at the bigger picture (such as the 2 year funding, 12 account managers, a more than competent CEO, a variety of revenue streams available long term).
From managing restaurants previously myself, I know I would have happily utilised this facility. I’m sure towards the beginning of Q4 we will see a dramatic rise in restaurants on the app.
It should be an exciting and fun ride with DISH imho.
I don’t know how they are not embarrassed to ramp/deramp?
Why not just let the company we believe in drive the share price!
If anyone needs a chuckle today, click on “ronaldtrump” and read through his past posts for DISH.. I have never seen ramping/deramping like it. Last week he was saying we will fly past the previous high of 9.2p, now today he is saying 1p?
I don’t think I will be selling my shares on the back of this scaremongering.
Dish will fly in my opinion (no ramping needed)
Ignore the derampers. I am now sitting on a loss with Dish and have no concerns about this company or where they will end up.
You don’t get the ex Trip Advisor director to run a company that isn’t going to succeed! Yes there have been delays, but I would rather this and them get it right before huge growth and expansion, rather than grow faster than they should and completely fall at the first hurdle.
The business module and concept works. It’s the sort of app that will benefit all users, eventually making this an easy sell. Users love it, restaurateurs get bums on seats (yes they pay a fee and give discounts to the customers, but the selling point to the restaurants is the secondary spend, new customers and increased brand recognition). Oh and of course, us as the long term shareholders will also get to reap the benefits!
It may be a bumpy ride at the moment, but we are still at the teething stages!
Not what I was hoping for today, I just feel that the volume of restaurants launched didn’t quite do it to drive the price to where we were all hoping this week..
I have no concerns though and feel that we will be seeing blue days again next week as the dust settles and people start to realise that the location has been launched and restaurants will be added, with many other great things coming up. We are back to where we were last week before the anticipation of news and I think it will only be going up from here.
Yes, we all watched our numbers drop today, but we are only a fraction of where we will be later in the year and all of this will seem irrelevant..
Well that’s a lovely little notification to wake up to! I’m not even going to try to guess where the price will end up before the weekend.
I can’t see anyone losing money on this for too long :)
