Did somebody say something? After drifting for months (years) they have shot up. Someone stake building?

I do not see the attraction - having had some for years when called Stanelco and have given up on them. Last RNS at 30 Sept. said cash was £4.7m which was the same at end June - at least appear to have stopped burning cash. Though after non cash items depreciation etc probably still making a significant loss.

I have just bought 20,000 (reluctantly sold some IDOX after their excellent result today) - these surely must be rerated when first results as a transformed company are published.

Shouldn't need cash - has a £5.5m facility with Lloyds Bank. Agree could have been more bullish. Drop in last years price only just covered by increase in volume. Why didn't they forecast energy output for next year - they say have covered 65% of expected output but don't say what it is!!

Trebling final dividend has helped! Shares up from 14p to 15.75p in 2 days

Excellent results. Surely higher dividend will boost share price. Yield has gone for 1.36% to 3.06%

Up 3.5% this morning ahead of tomorrows announcement

Results due tomorrow. Should be good news - acquisitions should be earnings enhancing. This really is a cash machine expect more positive dividend policy.

Usually is a pre closed period statement early November. With all the takeovers look out for improved profit expectation and the (overdue) rerating.

Have a look at Breedon (BREE) . A complicated story but a recent reverse takeover of another Midlands based business (though actually "based" in Jersey). Can only go up!

Think things are starting here. latest accounts are mainly pre Peter Tom's reverse takeover and are so confusing they make my brain hurt . Hoping to make a further investment shortly - waiting for funds from Carluccios success!

My investment club has 20,000 shares bought over the last 2 years, on my recommendation, showing a loss of £11. Every 1p change is worth £200 plus or minus - I really cannot see why they have not been rerated following the significant changes that Woolyback highlights below!

This share has had a reverse takeover almost doubling size of the company (more shares issued). first results due end Sept (I think 26th but cant put my finger on that info). Would expect these first results of the new co to be very positive.

Think when I first looked, about 4 years ago following a dinner hosted by Bank of England with their MD price was about 40p. So think there is still some way to go. Surely Alkane should be in every ethical portfolio, and unlike most "green" things actually makes real money!

Peter Tom has been watching Ennstone's troubles for some years. I hope he has now gone in at the right price.
