Is this company finally being recognised by the market?

Not just the amount traded now 16.5m but the number of trades. Surely somebody must know something about what is going on. Am showing a 75% loss despite averaging, so some way to go yet! Perhaps Apple will buy their patents, hopefully before they go under!

Answering my own question sometimes it is better to sell on the promise. The launch might be a good time. An alternative would be to give Lonrho shareholders about 2 Fast Jet shares for every 3 Lonrho shares we own (Fast Jet is worth about 2.4p of each Lonrho share today). This would stop Lonrho having to find more cash or being diluted as Fast Jet expands.

Wouldn't be at home in Africa - it pines for the fiords! Seriously is Easy Jet Africa, sorry, FastJet, going to make money? We own 60% of it after all. Should Lonrho sell out soon and use the cash for something it can control,or hang on?

Can anyone tell me why he didn't just buy them in the market? OK the company now has £200k more cash but seems strange.

Well sold part of holding: 10k at 27.2p first thing and bought back 10,200 for just £15 more at 26.44. Hard work making money with this spread - don't want to miss out though! If I was the new chairman first thing I would see that is missing is a dividend. They have the cash (or at least borrowing facilities) and are lowly geared (memo to self "check gearing"). By paying a dividend SP goes up Chairman hailed a genius, then can do whatever he wants for at least a couple of years. (And makes a nice profit on his not inconsiderable holding)

Don't understand Seymour Pierce price predictions you quoted. Not sure about M & S (i used to work for them) Their Fosse Park shop (near Leicester) has just been revamped and it is a right mess with high fixtures -very difficult to find anything. Must be a shoplifters paradise though!

The Company has been notified that on 5 November 2012 Roger McDowell, Non-Executive Chairman, acquired 50,000 ordinary shares of 0.5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 24.5 pence per Ordinary Share. If the new chairman is happy to pay 24.5p ......
