You cant, I don't think, issue new shares at less than their face value. As face value is 1p ,which until yesterday was above the current share price they would not be able to issue any new shares. The new shares will be have a face value of a tenth of a penny. Expect a new share issue following the passing of this resolution

Thanks for that, so if HPI sells for $1,000 per tonne and we make 42,000 tonnes pa plus Vanadium plus Titanium. makes the £17m market cap look a bit low. Clarke didn't help calling HPI Iron ore - it is refined High Purity Iron and should not be confused with unrefined ore.

If there was any likelihood of a problem then would have to tell us. Probably just the lawyers stretching things out to increase their fees. Have bought a few more today -the only trade!

Volume not huge, 666k shares traded but all the right way. have always thought IDOX would be attractive to someone like SAGE who wanted to diversify their software offer. Would want a good premium to sell though.

Very quiet here - am spending most waking hours watching excitement at Yorkshire Polyhalite prospect Summit (SUMM) but think it is about time we saw some action here. When is the smelter order going to be announced? Surely should be any day now.

AGM statement said wouldn't gain much from pound drop immediately as currency sold forward. Share price drop somewhat overdone IMO.

96% of sales are abroad with 79% in the US. At current exchange rates should add £1.5m to the bottom line based on last years sales.

From BTGs annual report: “The average rate for the year was $1.51 compared to $1.61 in the prior year. A five cent movement in the dollar exchange rate results in an approximate £13m change in Group revenues.” With the current exchange rate at $1.32/£ BTG will benefit by around £50m pa!

If we are worried about Brexit -and I am - shares with strong earnings in dollars should do well. BTG has strong dollar earnings.

Yes if not actually selling -a failure to buy will cause the market makers to mark prices down.

If we vote to leave the EU the uncertainty will cause a halt in construction projects large and small. Institutions are turning their holdings into cash.

All seems to be slotting in to place - have gone on record predicted a doubling of the share price by the end of June!!! So aiming at 9.2p

Super results as expected; Minor quibble about the 8% growth in dividend as the report says: The Board is pleased to declare an interim dividend of 0.35p, representing an increase of 8% over the previous year's interim dividend of 0.325p. This increase is consistent with both our improved performance and our progressive dividend policy to grow dividends in line with earnings growth. Adjusted profit before tax*** was 36% up at £7.9m (H1 2015: £5.8m) Interim dividend of 0.35p (2015: 0.325p) up 8%" A growth in dividend in line with growth in earnings would have produced a 0.4425p dividend compared to earnings per share of 1.97p giving cover of over 4 times which I would have thought more than adequate.
