It has been held down for months. There have been many opportunities for the lead MM to sell at maximum ASK but they decline and instead offer a price some 0.0001 below it to maintain the level.

Plainly someone is accumulating at a fixed level but either remaining below notification point or not being required to register.....possibly Schurter but could be others too.

You're all crazy if you think large use customers will swap just like that to another supplier....get real!

It takes months to onboard a supplier, with all the financial vetting and product inspection/testing.

Companies will be watching closely what negotiations come about with the Trump administration before jumping to new suppliers and all this takes time.

We need orders from customers that we have been negotiating with for months to come to fruition, like South Africa for example and I believe these are only weeks away now.

I think B+ is conveniently forgetting all about Maxwell in the US, one of the biggest Supercap suppliers on home turf.

This is all very true B+ but if the Sydney plant runs at full capacity we will probably reach break even.

That means that productivity will have to come from our other supply areas ie Indonesia, China etc to achieve profitability levels.

I'm not clear about the situation regarding importing these exterior manufactured products back into Australia then exporting to say US. Would they be classified under Australian levies or would they attract higher levies because of their origin?...Technically the tariffs apply to the exporting country and if that is the case then Cap-xx has a price advantage over Schurter branded products exported from Switzerland into the US.

Seems to me that the American market is going to be off limits due to pricing but there's still Europe,

Asia Pacific areas, India, South Africa etc, which have traditionally been our main markets.

At times like this I short the Nasdaq but it is a very rocky market, I'm usually in and out on a sniping basis, 30-40 times a day.

I don't disagree, I bought another 3M yesterday and it looks like I may be buying more if it descends further.

I was simply offering an explanation as to why some people may be selling.

There's a big downturn in the markets at the moment, just look at the US markets down 10-15% at the moment and it looks like another 10% at the very least to go.

Some people are liquidating everything they hold just to get into cash or Gold, they don't care about the possibilities of a share they just want out and to clear their whole portfolio regardless.

Let's not all forget about the binder.

Even without SMT this could be a game changer if it were to be licensed.
