Hi Friends, This is a first time that a company i invested is going for suspension. I am staring at a loss of GBP 1.3K. What happens after suspension? If some company buys this out of administration then will we get a chance to sell our shares? Thanks
I am not as lucky as some of you guys, I saw potential in this company since IPO days and started investing since them. My average is still 36p and sitting on huge losses. I missed accumulating from last week thinking that, hard luck!
Guys, any reason for the spike today? Thanks
Sorry, been out of touch with stock market for a few months but been holding some shares at an average price of 350.
Does anyone figured out why the SP has been coming down since November? Read almost all the RNS feeds and could not find anything negative. Thanks
I am already 65% down on THG and day by day this is only further down even on the slightest of a bad news. I hope i don't have to see this as a penny stock soon. The latest correction looks like due to the following news!
Four former employees of The Hut Group allege that they were dismissed from the online beauty and nutrition retailer after trying to blow the whistle on health and safety breaches. The four have lodged a roughly £22m lawsuit against the company for breach of contract and wrongful dismissal. The lawsuit from the four former employee's of THG's manufacturing and distribution facility in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, was filed in July 2020, two months before the company floated on the stock market. - Sunday Times
Same here, did the market just wake up suddenly to the knews that OTB had a depressed Q2 trading?
@jacob
How did your shorts go?
Does anyone know when is the IPO lock in period expiring? Meaning when can the early investors of the IPO start selling shares?
@markf and @danl90
I am almost 55% down on my THG investment but reading some of your posts is giving me some confidence and does make me feel its not end of the world and in a few months down the line with some right PR, the SP will bounce back .
Thanks for all the positive spin
I absolutely love this share due to low PE and debt free status and keeping the strong future infrastructure economy growth in minds.
I had 350 shares at 290 average price and had long term plans. I was at 60% profit at one time but just being honest, I am no expert and had to sell the shares today seeing all the hoopla and negativity.
Ultimately, we are all very small negligible fries compared to the big-ticket brokers. I am sure they create panic and then buy at cheap prices before recommending again. I made some profit today but if it again reaches my original buying price, i will buy this share again
My reason to sell, iron ore prices today are 125 USD/T, last time when we hit this price was on 18th Nov 2020 when FXPO was trading at 191 GBP whereas the price today is 345 GBP. Again, I am not a stock market expert and my analysis may be 100% wrong by I did not have the strength to take the risk and keep holding.
Can someone please explain me the maths behind 35 including dividend? Dividend is on 16.2p per share so does that mean that the market is discounting the price from 34.84 to the current price of 32.80? Thanks
