Very rarely post in here but been holding for nearly 4 years, my 1st buy at 19p, managed to average down and probably about break even...I read all the posts and just wanted to say thank you for all the great info provided and let's hope this recent momentum continues

When I first invested here I was a fair bit down for a while, was a bit worried because this was at a stage where there were still lots of unknowns, that's not the case anymore and these slight drops don't phase me one bit, added more today in fact... anyone who thinks these just go straight up need to give their head a wobble

I work at rolls and been doing share purchase for donkeys years, I'll use the shares once tax free to pay off my mortgage, hopefully over the next 2 years, holding the rest for future growth/dividends and hopefully retire in the next 5 years

We had Ed milliband visit our facility, was a while ago and management said it was just a standard visit

It's great to wake up to finally being up on my investment here after being 40% down at one point, not planning on selling any time soon as it still seems a way off previous highs, hopefully it can go above and beyond that.

Just wanted to say hi, got in a few weeks ago..not got a huge position but after watching the recent interviews it all looks really promising, let's hope this comes off and for positive test results soon

Unite has recommended that the pay deal be accepted, industrial action should now be off the cards

Hey Red, strike action hasn't been voted on, they have made us an increased offer, general feeling in the section I work is it's likely to be accepted

Just my view,
I think short term this doesn't move up much, pay dispute ongoing and industrial action looming, current economy and the war in Ukraine etc.
Probably goes lower in my opinion.
But all these will eventually get resolved.
Orders are booming in defence, flying hours always on the up, and the green energy will be huge I feel.
If you are in at this price or if you wait for it to go lower before starting a position then I think this is a fantastic long term hold.

Valid points regarding debt position etc, but there was enough in the pot to pay all the managers and execs huge bonuses

As an employee and a large shareholder it's a double edged sword for me??, I personally think the rise we are negotiating is fair and intact less than the RPI that we would normally go for, BAE have just got close to 7% with a £1000 pound lump sum, followed by 6% next year with a £1000 lump sum
