"perhaps you would be better off selling all your GVC, and buying more of your QPP as a safer bet."
gsdog - I hope that was you being disingenuously sarcastic, and not offering genuine advice.
As you prob know QPP is as volatile as an active volcano, the size of Krakatoa right now - and could kill worse than ISIS - or go on to make loadsamoney. There's no middle ground it's do-or-die with that one.
Although I did post I had received a buy signal for it on Friday, the same day I received a sell signal for GVC.
All the sell signals in the past 12 months for GVC have been small weak affairs with puny drops. Whilst all the buy signals have been quite generous - apart from 2 sideways buy signals (no system, even if it's the dog's gonads is better at best than 60% accuracy).
GVC trendline has turned bearish. Volume has turned bearish, but with qualifications - it's a very weak bearish signal when it comes to volume. So, in effect, the momentum has just recently turned gently bearish, weakly so. (Talking myself into holding and topping up, aren't I? (Sometimes I think I use these forums as an open diary to myself LOL!)
My problem is, that with topping up I've brought my buying-in price perilously close to being breached at the current SP position.
Bought in this summer @ 457
Topped up @ 429
Again & 486
And once again @ 486
- All equal amounts. Shoulda gone nuts @ 429, but that's life.
