THE FEDERAL government has injected $125 million into a fund aimed at stimulating future oil and gas and resources exploration.
The program is managed by Geoscience Australia and provides geoscientific data on potential oil and gas deposits in frontier basins including the Beetaloo and greater McArthur Basins, both in the Northern Territory.

Aboriginal people and communities have access to consistent, factual, relevant and easy to understand and culturally appropriate information relating to the onshore petroleum industry.
Overall, Dr Ritchie found that implementation continues satisfactorily in accordance with the findings of the Inquiry.
I continue to add shares to my portfolio as I believe that long term Falcon will be a win for all the patient investors.
We wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the unprecedented circumstances brought about by COVID-19 and let you know that we have temporarily paused our exploration work in the Beetaloo.
This follows discussions with the NT Government and the Northern Land Council, the representative body for Aboriginal people where we are exploring.
We’ve recently finished installing additional water monitoring bores at our Kyalla well site and are now packing down the rig safely and moving it to the side of the lease, now that drilling has been successfully completed.
Our presence at the site will reduce to what is essential to meet our regulatory and environmental management conditions - that involves monitoring and maintaining the site over the months ahead. Those leaving are following controlled travel plans and will not travel through remote communities.
Further work is now rescheduled for the second half of this year and our plan is that Northern Territory based employees and contractors will continue to undertake the civil work and other necessary activities in preparation for this.
We have also shared with the NT Government our rigorous COVID-19 management plan that details the additional actions we are taking to safely maintain our operations in accordance with health and government advice.
We remain committed to the project we believe has the potential to deliver long-term benefit to the NT and Australia - though for now we will continue to play our part in protecting the health and safety of communities across the Territory.
Best regards,
The Origin Beetaloo exploration project team

“We find ourselves in unprecedented circumstance due to COVID-19 where it is imperative that the JV acts responsibly and quickly to ensure the health and safety of people and communities. While the JV is committed to the Beetaloo project and results to date are encouraging, the focus at this time must be on the health and safety of people.”

26 March 2020 - Falcon Oil & Gas Ltd. (TSXV: FO, AIM: FOG) (“Falcon”) provides the following operational update on the Beetaloo project in the Northern Territory, Australia in light of COVID-19.
Following the successful completion of drilling operations, including cementing and casing of the horizontal well section of the Kyalla 117 N2-1H ST2 well (the “Kyalla Well”), the JV has completed the installation of water monitoring bores and preparatory work has continued towards the next phase of operations, which will include the fracture stimulation of the Kyalla Well.
Given the unprecedented circumstances brought about by COVID-19 in recent weeks, the JV has made changes to its operations to protect the health and well-being of Origin Energy Limited employees, contractors and communities across the Northern Territory. Adhering to the latest guidelines and advice from the Northern Territory and Federal Government on health and safety and social distancing are of the utmost importance to the JV and all present on site are observing health authority requirements.
Following the implementation of the necessary control procedures, the JV has now elected to temporarily pause activities at the Kyalla Well site, reducing those on site to essential personnel only, whilst ensuring the required regulatory and environmental management conditions to monitor and maintain the site can be met. The JV plans to resume activities in the latter half of 2020 and during this interim period the JV will use Northern Territory based employees and contractors to undertake civil and other works in preparation for the resumption of activities.
The JV remains committed to the Beetaloo project which, if successful, has the potential to deliver long-term economic and social benefits for the Northern Territory, Australia and is encouraged by the positive results to date. However, the circumstances presented by COVID-19 have led the JV to conclude that the focus at this time must be to protect the people and communities of the Northern Territory.

Our operations and plans are changing frequently to meet new requirements and keep the community safe, including no longer accommodating at either location mentioned.
Activity on site is minimal now, and is focused on road works (local NT contractors) and safely packing up the rig now that drilling has been completed. There has been no fracking at this well site location. All work is being undertaken in accordance with health authority requirements for social distancing and separation of Territory and interstate team members. We are working with the Land Council and NT Govt and will continue to review and change our operational activities, pausing if necessary, as the safety of people and the community is paramount.
Purchased 30k shares Tuesday. Thought it was a great price for FOLGF at .125. Would never have dreamed it could go sooo much lower. Today I purchased another 30k at .088. Like most of you, I am in this for the long game. I also get frustrated with the price when this company has so much potential. Truly believe we will be winners at the end of the day. Falcon shares are not for the weak or faint of heart, only the strong. It is a roller coaster until solid news comes through.
Video just posted on YouTube by Origin. They're over 5 Billion in debt. Brief mention of the Beetaloo 51 seconds in. No new news on drilling but good to stay updated on Origin financials.

Anyone following Origin on Twitter? They have created a twitter account to educate the Territorian's on the safety of fracking, how it benefits the community and ultimately to offset bad publicity by the Green organizations. Its called The Origin Beetaloo Exploration Project. This is a video they have posted twice. It's simplistic and easy to understand for those living in the NT unfamiliar with the fracking process. If any of the links don't work then copy and paste them.

November and December relatively dry. Looks like rain in earnest begins this week. Hopefully doesn't slow down progress on the ground.

Blast from the past... Bruner interview on the Beetaloo project from 2010. It's actually extremely informative for anyone new to the board, or newer. FYI... I've only been an investor in FOG/FOLGF 3 years. Bruner places a dollar value on the resource of 100B at 5:42 into the video. He states its a 100 year project at 7:20 in the video.
