totally get it. I was in the same boat a few years back.. had to sell for personal reasons. I held on and averaged down but yet prices still continued to decline culminating on SP consolidation. It still is tough to accept what happened but I am getting better slowly. The commodities boom seems to be back so I am pleased for people making money unfortunately I am not one of those!
my average is around 10p from long ago but I never averaged down. I guess now I have something to aim for and possibly average down on dips. hopefully I will have some cash at the time that happens :).
Jackall give someone your address, proof of ID and a copy of your passport see what can happen! :-) I rather be safe than sorry. I wouldnt mind if I could upload it online but seems they dont have that option on Share Center.
yes I did. I guess its because I moved homes recently and therefore when they do a credit check they need proof of address. given how pre-historic those checks are I wont be moving over and will wait :). there is no way in hell I am sending them copies of documents by post so they someone there can steal my ID lol !
dont have a lot as I never really averaged down. 87,164 total so my 5k is now worth £28! lesson learned for sure but hopefully if I sell at a loss I can use this against capital gains on other winnings but I need win !! :)
yeah I gave asset match a call too they said price will be the last quoted on AIM I guess they had to put something on the website so 0.15p it was. but lets see Monday what happens. I setup an account there and added fastjet to the watchlist to keep tabs on price. its a shame barclays doesnt have something in place to handle unlisted shares....
it was 0.15p showing on screen who knows where the price came from!. I tried registering with share center. they want 2 forms of ID for address verification to be MAILED to them HAHAH so 1990s! and not only that the bank statement has to be certified! so I have to go to a branch and do that ! so for now I will not be completing anything with them!
I did notice they are in the process of merging with Interactive Investors so that might be a better way to go in the future!
