What if the order to sell was placed a few weeks ago...before he could have known any outcomes.

a couple of thoughts....

If he was to learn that a sale was not going ahead, some alternative say or was not happy with price etc ....then he might decide to sell now, and get a better price of around 30p
also,
I didn't think it was so easy to sell 12million shares..it would have taken some time, surely. But its effect hit the market at 4pm today in one almighty punch - with no warning.

well i've read a random number of posts, translated them and come to the conclusion that they do not have a clue why the sp there is behaving in this manor, other than a few think its a pump.

Well, next news will be either approved new territory's to sell and/ or confirmation of new orders...and once we announcing new orders this share will fly.

Anyone else feel that todays RNS is pretty much a drum role before the release of important news. They would not do this if they were about to provide disappointing news imo. The news will be excellent, and this is their only way of providing a "roll up roll up - lets have your attention" before the release date - probably Thursday imo.

The 100 million tender closes at end of this week - perfect timing or what!

Serinus Energy to start drilling new Romania well in January

Oil and gas company Serinus Energy said it expected to start drilling a new well in Romania in January. Preparations for the Moftinu-1008 were proceeding as planned, with a 16-inch conductor pipe successfully installed to a depth of 30 metres. A mobilization order for the movement of the drilling rig to the well site is imminent, Serinus said. The well would be drilled to a depth of 1,000 metres in the Moftinu structure and is targeting five identified gas-sand intervals, three of which ha been tested and were producing from the current Moftinu production wells.

I don't think this bit was in the original RNS in Uk, but may have been in Poland.

"Serinus said said it was also advancing preparations to drill the Sancrai-1 well located approximately 7 kilometres to the south west of Moftinu. Initial drilling permits had been granted by the National Agency for Mineral Resources for approval and the process of rig selection and tendering would commence in early 2021. 'The current company timeline is to commence drilling this well in the second quarter of 2021,' "

The graph shows the past weeks action on the polish platform with a sp hike that started on the 4th Jan 21. The volume is the highest the company has had for the past ten years. I think the sp was halted on Friday as it hit the 0.62 resistance, and bounced back. IMO ( I'm a novice) This will be tested this week, if volume continuous will be broken to test 0.8, and then 1.111.

If you look at the top of the home page, there are two rns announcements on the polish site on the 18th Jan 21, and one that looks like a news update. In the UK we had only one which was the Moftinu–1008 Well Spudded and two price monitoring . Just a thought.

Can someone accumulate SENX shares in Poland without it effecting the SP in the UK?

If it is a leaks in Poland then you would expect some SP enhancing buying here in the UK at a very cheap price! there is no evidence re: share price being chased up in UK, down 3% on Friday..

Hugh. Very good post. i'm invested here and am blown away with the scalability of SYMEs offering and with the progress they have made to date. The only thing that i can't get my head around is that for a company where reputation is everything, and developing some of the best relationships in the financial world- how could they get the company suspended over what seems like such a schoolboy mistake - how do you think this will look to those who are invested , and potential customers.
I obviously hope they shuffle the paper work, kick a few arses and produce what is required before the deadline, but it was so unavoidable. I think they need to drop some stellar RNSs between now and then, just to re assure people like me that's we are back on track, without any longer term consequences. .....

What to the UK Government do they decoded ( with no evidence) that they will extend the period between doses to 12 weeks ( could be much longer as shortages expected). No one knows if the 2nd dose of vaccine , given so much later will have on the patient, or the effectiveness of the vaccine in protecting the person. All this confusion this goes ahead is that means that the only way anyone can find out what the status of any individual, at any time is to test them- so testing will probably go through the roof.

unbelievably positive feedback from the recent trial. What stood out for me was that regardless of the so far unknown results of the trial on patience outcomes....he stated that during this trial there was no toxicity issues, good safety profile that are you would experience in present day treatment. That alone is highly significant. If the trial results just merely matched present day treatment and outcomes, but with no toxicity or complications then this would become the treatment of choice, for most dependent on price, i guess. If we get better outcomes, with no complications then hit gold.
