RE: Major Market Correction14 Mar 2021 14:00
I am no expert but my view is Yes, most company's will be effected by a significant down turn but the more defensive stocks will recover more robustly, and possibly their SP will be less effected.
Open Orphans customers are highly specialised company's, ( or Governments) with tight timelines, and money to spend.
OO are the only company offering its fast track solution ( this should account for a great deal)
Our solution is in demand, due to a world crisis....so called defensive stocks are ( to quote)...
"Health care: Even a person with no investing experience can identify firms in this broad defensive sector, including hospital conglomerates, insurance companies, drug and medical instrument manufacturers, and biomedical companies. Health care is a defensive sector because these companies offer products or services that consumers will likely continue to buy in difficult economic times. After all, health is a high priority, and people still visit doctors and refill prescriptions in hard times."
Could effect the timing of spin offs .
My hope is we will be initially taken down with the market, but recover faster than many other company's.
Something to think about is the strong likelihood that many investors will sell existing holdings in other more vulnerable stocks and invest in defensive stocks such as OO, in fact with OOs future looking so bright it could be one of the top defensive buys in its sector. The truth is i do not know but those are my thoughts.
