While things are looking better in the UK16 Mar 2021 21:07
WHO have put out several reports of how Covid could play out in less fortunate country's.
"According to Guterres:
“130 countries have not received a single dose of vaccine and vaccine equity is the biggest moral test before the global community.
“The world urgently needs a global vaccination plan to bring together all those with the required power, scientific expertise and production and financial capacities.
If the virus is allowed to spread like wildfire in the Global South, it will mutate again and again. New variants could become more transmissible, more deadly and, potentially, threaten the effectiveness of current vaccines and diagnostics.
“This can prolong the pandemic significantly, enabling the virus to come back to plague the Global North.”

Just to highlight how the demand for Covid vaccines and diagnostic testing in the UK, is so humongous , but compared to what the world will need, even when at full capacity will not scratch the surface, and there will always be a demand, according to the WHO this could go on for decades . You can't separate a healthy north, from billions of people in developing nations in the south who have no access to vaccine or diagnostic tests. The future MUTATIONS will be shared throughout the world.
Depressing as it is, if you take a world view then this will inevitably be a long game and company's such as OXD will be needled.
In the UK, we are just starting thinking about opening up our society again, for the summer but in France, Italy , Poland Germany , Czech republic etc they are rising again ...
