regarding the Contract awarded to Omega in Feb which has an " Initial estimated total value of the contract/lot: £1,152,000,000
Total value of the contract/lot: £1,152,000,000". We know because Colin has informed us it may be less, but it does s stipulate ONE BILLION ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY MILLION POUNDS.
Omega are named as the only name on award of contract.

Therefore, we must acknowledged that this one contract if awarded to full potential ( it does stipulate this)

Its pretty obvious there is going to be a shortage of supply of lFT's, as there is vaccines. To purchase on the world market can not guarantee supply. Therefore , what happens if the full contact amount is taken up by Omega ...surely there are enough LFTs required by this tender to keep the ODX machines turning out 2 m tests a week for well over the next twelve months...and then also from demand abroad!

Questions

Will ODX share this contract with its partners...does ODX get at least 25%. I notice Global Access Diagnostics Ltd is noted as the contactor!

It looks like from this link that the CC registration is pretty much a administrative step - signing off to say that the product you are manufacturing, which would have been tested is within all EU relevant directives etc. CE marking is your sole and ultimate responsibility as a manufacturer.
" Step 5: Prepare “EC Declaration of Conformity”. You must draw up and sign a written declaration that your product complies with the requirements of all relevant EU legislation which prescribes CE marking (the precise content of such declaration varies depending on the underlying EU legislation). Can you give us one source....we can do the rest.

I don't care what Colin does do, or does not do as long as he keeps to the objective ! which is to get production up to or above two million tests per week and delivers them safely to a ready buyer.

As an side, after reading about how infectious the India and Brazil variant's are ( Very scary) , and with several new variants showing cases now in London, along with as announced at weekend that having just one vaccination is no defence, as significant numbers of people with just one shot have been found to catch these new variants ( they do not know if two jabs offers any protection, either ), and with scenes in London /UK over the weekend (mass outside groupings everywhere) ...and with the UK opening up at a increasing rate ...You don't need a scientist to tell you see its only a matter of time before we are amid a third wave and whether the UK government lock down again, or not - i get the feeling that no one will be going anywhere without evidence of a recent negative test.

My thoughts are that the Governments focus is now on be bale to test, identify the mutant / variations of the virus that are devastating Indian and Brazil - as within 3 -4 months it will be here in massive numbers - especially if the vaccines do not help..

Only 3 weeks ago, in March, in a RNS we read....
VISITECT® brand. Omega has CE-marked the product and is now in the process of completing marketing launch for commercial roll-out which is expected to start in April. The Company is already in discussion with a number of potential commercial partners looking to order the test post launch.

AND,
The Company is well on its way to establishing a lateral flow production capacity of approximately 2 million tests per week by the end of April from its Alva facility in Scotland. This production capacity will be used to produce this VISITECT® branded antigen test for sale to third-party commercial customers.

Any orders for VISITECT could be very large indeed and could be announced at anytime as I imagine there would a lot less red tape and NDAs to negotiate.
We must be entering a period of substantial news, and anything with a lot of 0s attached will break this repetitive trading cycle we have been living with since last year.

Once ODX get through this period, the market will focus on the future, at what an utter transformation of revenues ODX have managed to achieve. Then there is all the other news form other products to look forward too, and new markets for its own branded LFT....plus a possible expansion in production of LFTs by 25%, 50% , who knows.

Its going to be a good summer this summer in ODX.

I'm of an age to remember buying shares and having to wait till the evening standard was printed later that same day to get the SP, yes antiquated BUT it was simple, and you did not have online BBs, with peeps giving out all sorts of mis information and screwing with your head. You relied on the RNS, the quality of the board, contact with the company and your own instincts. I imagine even fever tree ( everyone quotes a success story these days) had a loyal following of peeps who did nothing but belittle the company's performance.

I think most investors know that ODX have the contracts to supply the government, and will gain further contracts to supply their independent LFT to whoever, but the delays ( is it a delay, only in mid April), news blackout has caused a void which has thrown up uncertainty and given many carte blanche to say whatever they wish. The lack of news means it is really hard to defend the company by the loyal supporters, which makes more investors nervous.

If you go by the RNSs, read Big Jocks communications with both eyes open, you will see that very little if anything that is stated by Big Jock , isn't already written in an RNS. If you agree,and re read RNS's and BJs posts then its as clear as it can be to me that ODX will succeed, use their full capacity and will consider further expanding once the 200 m production is settled.
IMO from todays SP a doubling in share price between now and then is pretty much expected, after that there should be a great deal more. IMO everything will fall into place over the next two weeks, and probably be a three buses in a row scenario.

I'm slightly confused and wondered if anyone could explain something for me.

My understanding was that the UK Rapid Test Consortium (UK-RTC) involved members named as Abingdon Health, BBI Solutions, CIGA Healthcare, Omega Diagnostics, and Oxford University. Everywhere you look the consortium lists these names as the members. I seem to recall 25% or more of contracts won by consortium members will be given to ODX to manufacture.

Anyway, I have seen a small references in the past that indicated the consortium was not a fixed number of company's but was/ could grow in membership. I also read somewhere, regarding the UK Rapid Flow Testing manufacturing industry that their was a growing number of bi-lateral agreements in place ( did not say between whom).

I recently found this article about the Surescreen. British manufacturer SureScreen Diagnostics to supply 20 million rapid lateral flow Feb 2021 .New contract secured with Derby-based manufacturer for validated lateral flow antigen tests, ensuring supply for UK over coming months. It states

"SureScreen is a member of the UK Rapid Antigen Test Consortium, a growing coalition of industry scientists and manufacturers, who have come together to secure lateral flow tests and manufacturing capability for the UK".

So SureScreen is also a member, and awarded Antigen test contract from UK government . Just wondered if there were more unknown members in the UK rapid Test Consortium and whether certain bi lateral deals have been done ( undisclosed) with other major tender contract winners, to leverage the manufacturing power of the consortium. Just a thought.

So Its all on in Q2 now, the market was not impressed from the reaction so far.
I think with regular news updates, between now and July trading statement then hopefully keep share price from drifting.

Well I can honestly say, I have never had this reaction on a AIM share BB in the past 10 years !

Its so insular, defensive, protective, as if it has something important that it wants to protect....

Why not be open and embrace some diversity on the BB, but only with some evidence or observations to support any views.

as an aside , I complained about the reviews at Leafy Quick last week - that all the Chill reviews were over a year out of date....if you look now they have been updated, all from last month !

Obstando. Its a BB, people share what they have. You are obviously just a sheep..if you believe everything you read on a BB, and that is all your willing to do - just believe in the big numbers, then sadly your are a liability to yourself.

What I have said previously is not a reflection on this specific share, but on all shares that look to be good to be true.
The bottom line is if this share does well, then you do well, and I do well. That's all there is to it.

But between now and then, I will ask questions if i wish too....how can your faith here so easily crumble when someone asks questions....show a great deal.

Yes, I have read all the RNSs, but can make mistakes.
I chose Mr Checkout as in the Nov. 2019 RNS it said
"Preparations for the trial with Mr. Checkout are complete and Chill products will shortly be available through certain of Mr. Checkout's distribution partners".

One of which we know was AATAC. However, nothing much since of any note. That was my initial question? In fact from the RNS you noted there was a company called New Age Beverages. Have we heard anything else from them since.?

Buyers remorse, what you talking about. I have 5,000 shares at 82p, which is nothing, but i am quite able to add considerably once I see some hard facts appear and support the story. I have also crunched the numbers and they can go as high as you want them to go.....but we need a solid, reliable, predictable base and that starts with evidence appearing previous good story RNSs, especially from 8 months ago.

I know Covid could have stopped all the preparations for store to be supplied but want to hear that that is the reason, and not a blank page. I don't want to learn the hard way.

Even if you fall in love with a company story, remember that they work for you, you are the one who is invested and its you taking the risk.
I've seen the same limited number of media presentations as you have, and read the same RNSs.

I am just a lone investor, trying to do his best.
