Have a read of this . Its regarding the US and the quote below is regarding Canada, who have already introduce a menthol fag ban.

"Recent research published in the BMJ found that 21.5% of menthol smokers surveyed two years after the Canadian ban had quit smoking, though 59.1% switched to non-menthol cigarettes and another 19.5% smoked menthols sold by First Nation tribes. "
So in Canada 60% found another brans to smoke, and 20% went to indigenous people and bough on black market probably.

In Europe there could be a similar market for people who want Menthol at all costs, and the health benefits should be a plus.
As always i'm just not sure how Zoe are going to market themselves in UK and Europe as far as the only menthol smoke is concerned......but don't think that Europe is a lesser market as far as menthol smokes is concerned.

If the US market is a year away before the ban. Then the UK and Europe market is now ripe as the ban has already taken place. You accuse me of de ramping when i'm saying that Europe is a Menthol waste land ( except for vape).

Who has a menthol smoke being launched very soon ? How many people in Europe smoked Menthol? How many would chose a menthol smoke today ?
Who is aiming to roll out in the UK, and across central and eastern Europe sometime soon hopefully?

US is a big market . Yes. Europe is a big market if your one of the few supplying a menthol smoke - which happens to be better for you.
You say i'm on the fence but really i'm just kicking the wheels..... I can see positives and negatives....life's not black or white and neither are company's. If i had to chose a side, i'm on my side and will make up my own mind.

Yes, but may take years to come into effect in the USA.. The UK has already banned menthol, and Zoe are due to release a menthol smoke here.

The ban on all menthol fags started on 20th May 2020, nearly a year ago - so Zoes Menthol smoke should attract a lot of interest in those smokers who have not discovered a replacement in another brand during this time, and who wish to switch back to a menthol flavoured smoke, the fact that its nicotine free is another market entirely, I would assume.

People i talk to who are ex smokers and whom now vape, chose vaping as the next nearest thing to smoking but vaping never really replaced that feeling of holding a lit smoke, etc etc if only the Zoe smokes can take some of the vape market (old and new), with a more realistic smoke.

Does anyone know why Zoe can't market their smokes as a smoking alternative / smoking cessation product along the lines of patches etc as even patches have harmful nicotine....and the whole idea of patches, gums etc etc is that in 12 or 30 weeks the smoker comes off the nicotine......Zoe smokes do not have any nicotine or tobacco from day one, so surely a tobacco / nicotine free smoke is a good alternative for many smokers trying to quite nicotine.

You should have an allocated social worker either from the hospital that gave the diagnosis or form the local social services department.

Ask them for a further assessment of need ( A Care Act assessment) they have a legal obligation to visit, assess, and provide services to meet his and your needs at home, and if it gets too much for you then also admit into a end of life establishment ..hospice / nursing home etc

Contact the local hospice and inform them of father - they will also pay a visit and see whats services at home they can provide.

Aimed at the UK smoke rollout in July...so started early in the UK. Its a start and that's something positive. I'm expecting more to follow..... and also something in the US?

I work ( part time these days) at a large hospital in south London in a medical capacity in the Neurological and Memory assessment service area ( mostly problematic dementia and also A&E pathway head injury and brain trauma......accidents, car accidents , violence). I spend a great deal of time around family's who are doing the best they can, often without any support and in very stressful situations caring / supporting a loved one at home through the journey and up to end of life care. It always amazes me ho few know whats available, if only they ask for it. Services for terminally ill p[patients is usually alleyways fast tracked..you mentioned your fathers fall earlier....have you contacted the falls prevention servcie...it may be to late to get him fully back on his feet but they can provide a lot of equipment at home and physio etc
I've worked in this field for over 30 years and I can honestly say that there is nothing as difficult as providing support to a love one who has a degenerative illness - I hope you are in the system. There can be a lot of help and practical support out there but you must ask for it, and make sure your fathers registered with Macmillan nurses who have a very good outreach service in the community and can provide immediate respite beds in local hospices if it all gets too much for you and family - especially the last stage. I went through it with my mother, who is no longer alive and i am just starting again with my 96 year old father - but he lives over 100 miles away on his own. Its only just beginning but I can see whats coming only too well. The good thing about going through all this now is that later, sometime in the future you will always know that you did your best for your dad and not feel what sometimes happens a feeling of guilt that you could have done more.

Today when a company launch a product it is all over social media and the internet in general, so to raise brand awareness and get people to try product. That old saying there's no point having a shop on the web , if no one knows your shop exists, is true. I am expecting Zoe to have some kind of promotional event or something in the US, and hope to be able to see this happening PLUS whatever they do, their should be lots of user commencements and reviews posted for us to enjoy reading. At the moment there is just silence.

If they are selling well, then it shouldn't be long before we see some independent reviews of Zoe's products up against the competition. This is done regularly form what i can see and is outside the control of any company. At present I cannot find any independent user reviews, comments, or even mentions of the Chill Brand.

It will be interesting to see how the company are going to publicise their new products now they are actually on the shelf. The internet is the obvious first choice ....so will surely be thinking about how they are going to let the public know about their brand. Some sort of association and links to American football - i seem to remember was muted some time ago.

The honest truth is I do like the story round this share ...but I do think its also sounds too good to be true ( there are many such shares, but not many quite like this one). So, ill continue and ask questions, make observations, and discuss with some of the more enlightened ( civil) board members, until a time the company decide to share the only news that matters...

According to anyone's calculations however conservative.....with over 2,000 outlets selling product ..then large sums of money should be changing hands....most company's would take that news and even without the finer details , would acknowledgement it to market....but for some reason its a big secret here. I can imagine waiting for several more months before anything is disclosed.
