Hi Billy,
No doubt i will be attacked as a deramper for mentioning a competitor to Zoetic but the similarity's of both company's product are very close and the Co Founder of TAAT is willing to discuss in much greater more detail how their roll out is progressing.
You might remember i posted about TAAT a while ago, i mentioned it was a good one to keep an eye on. They were getting ready for their launch and have a similar no tobacco, no nicotine cigarette product to Zoe. They have launched and are piloting Ohio mainly and monitoring sales there. 15-20 new outlets per week. Every store has re ordered since first delivery. Partnership with CROSSMARK who have access to 100,000 outlets throughout USA and aim to roll out.

If you listen to the podcast interview they describe themselves as disruptive, the only product on the shelves in US, pleased to announce that every outlet that has taken first order have reordered again, sales are growing . Interestingly TAAT promote their smoke as a smoking cessation or alternative....Menthol most popular product ..interestingly the company noticed they had to wait three weeks for next re order when each outlet started selling but this is now weekly !!!! since they have worked on their displays. Aiming for between 100,000 to 200,000 stores in full rollout across america and plans for international development.
Interesting comment from presenter ( the founder) was that the outlets that sell TAAT all sell tobacco cigarettes, but their margin is so low they hardly make any money on tobacco. However, selling TAAT ( maybe same with ZOE) is that all newsagents would prefer to sell TAAT product over any other tobacco smokes as gives outlet much higher margin.
I'm posting this as it gives very good comparison with Zoetic ( who are far more advanced in outlets) and it is naive to think ZOE are the only company in this space, their will be tremendous competition, both TAAT and ZOE launched approx. at the same time , yet have different distribution partners at present but very similar long term plans.
Last thing i will mention ( which is not mentioned on the link ) is that recently TAAT recruited Setti Coscarella as CEO who was highly regarded as lead strategist at Philip Morris International ! In fact , he headed up Phillip Morris " Well being department" and responsible for research and finding non tobacco alternatives to traditional tobacco cigarettes.
