Our diagnostic (antigen) test has been sitting at the top of the assay table since it was first released many weeks ago. The Deputy Lead of the World Health Organisation, Maria Van Kerkhove, has just disclosed in the WHO'S news conference that a number of serologic assays are being developed for antibody testing. Is Novacyt about to do the double! All IMO
TrekMadone - Boris needs nailing down with the following Public Interest question being asked of him; (this is the email that I have sent out to the media in the last hour) -
Straight question: Mr Johnson which diagnostic test did you use please?
I very much doubt you will receive a straight answer.
In the unlikley event of him giving you a straight answer, should the answer be the Novacyt/PrimerDesign diagnostic test, then perhaps you might ask him why it is that neither he nor the government's medical advisors have made the country aware of this test, notwithstanding its successful, independent clinical performance evaluation by PHE and the WHO!
B2HS2L - I was thinking the same thing a little while ago. I still have a strong feeling that something left of field is heading our way. GM has moved quickly to appoint the third party GMP-compliant manufacturers, but i do not think even these steps will satiate the demand for our tests. SP looking strong and on course to close at a 52-week high. Augurs well for next week and the next piece of news!
TrekMalone - I agree. The dataset is not only key here but also in the wider context of Covid-19. I suspect this is one of the reasons for the scientists' shift in emphasis to antibody testing. SNG certainly now looks like it has put its house in order ahead of what will hopefully be a transformative period for the company.
For weeks now the government and its medical advisors must have known about Novacyt's diagnostic test because PHE carried out an Independent Clinical Performance Evaluation of our test with a successful outcome. The government and its medical advisors therefore, have had many opportunities to provide much-needed reassurance to the public by informing them of the existence of these accurate and reliable tests in their news conferences and other media briefings, but they have not done this. Many NHS workers have not had our tests available to them. I suspect Johnson, Han**** and others will now be accessing the very (NCYT) tests that they have failed to tell the public about. Now, that is what I call "slippery"!

Wolfiebill - I'm merely reiterating what the CEO said in the RNS. He and the company made the point that the Third party manufacturer in Europe and the one here in the U.K. (YGEN) is GMP-compliant. No point having the best test in the world if the manufacturing process is sub-standard or flawed. You need to email Mr Mullis about them not including the 'c' btw!
Trinityman - you're right to go with the former. NCYT represented a departure for me; pharmas not my usual sector, but NCYT has been a very good investment. I'm a holder here too. I suspect that this board is going to attract more than its fair share of numpties just like NCYT has. Previously, I held SXX many years ago and I did ok with it, probably before you and Fred were invested. I remember the days when Fraser was part of a trade delegation to China led by David Cameron. Not long after they returned, SXX was entering into MOU for off-take agreements with big agricultural companies in China. The devil is in the detail, so we have to be detailed devils; 'ACCELERATED BOOKBUILD' was the key phrase! GL and I look forward to reading your contributions here. All IMO
Trinityman - thanks for your reply. I think you have confused the NCYT bb with this one! The volume of my posts over on NCYT is commensurate with the number of ill-informed and under-researched "contributors" there. That particular bb has been infected with them for several weeks, particularly 'one post posters'. There have been some of them on here as well. I don't think I will posting as frequently here, but your welcome to read my contributions hitherto; 22:17 on Weds 25th March and 09:30 Thurs 26th March GL to the genuine holders

Kamakiriad - the SP has never closed at 220, the year high was reached at close, (CLOSE BEING THE OPERATIVE WORD,) on Wednesday 25th March BTW it went to an intra-day high of 220 for only 2-3 seconds, I know that because I was all over it!
